You should check out that Research and unlock the stuff. You want better engine, tracks, turret.. Basically everything. then you can unlock next tank. You need XP to first unlock it then some money to buy it and mount it. That should help you survive. Compare the cannons, you want alot armor penetration and damage, accuracy and preferably as many shots in minute as possible. I suggest sticking to 1 type of tank after you find good one. Eg if you continue with british mediums (Vickers) and dont later take a soviet medium or lights.
Because later each tier tank will cost like 26k XP for tier 6. You may not want to collect the XP multiple times for similar tank

i only started playing WoT again because gamesmaster magazine were giving away a tank for it a few months ago.

Had some pretty awesome runs today with dr_hax and Fox_cub ( i dont remember hsi Ct name, something with fox).

also don't rely on auto targeting all the time

What auto targetting? You should disable that immediately.

Try playing Pz. 1 C without it. It's almost impossible to hit the enemy while zooming past them while going 75+ kph, due to the high RoF.

Have any of you heard of their new game called World of Warplanes? Im currently in the closed beta stage of it, and it's the same idea as world of tanks, but planes! Not sure when it's going to be released. They just started development on World of Warships, too.
