I tried it again today and I cant even go hide without being spotted so IDK what to do nor what I am doing wrong.. there are training rooms, I went in one but never got selected to a team so i left.. and there is a place for private matches but again idk if you can challenge no us players (that kind of thing)

Seems pretty correct image to explain SU-85 with the 72mm gun. Aim for the tank, the shot flies over the tank by 2-3m But when i hit with it. It kills.

How to not be spotted: Dont move constantly. Hide behind something, dont shoot random shit for fun.
Kill all spotters at start of the game before they spot your whole team which after hopefully artillery will take care of you.

Maybe thats why you keep dying? You dont go and rush instantly through the field where whole enemy team can see you.
Malinovka for example: It has a empty field in middle of the map and 2 sides where you and enemy start.

Its a certain death if you go past the field.
How enemy spots you: you move alot, you are withn their radio range (visibility), they see you visually fire, some of their team mates, usually some shitty fast tank drives around the enemy starting place to spot most of the tanks so their teammates can see them and shoot precicely and kill.
Also spotting is important if you playing with SPG (artillery) or AT-SPG (tank destroyer) because.
1. You are weak
2. You are slow
3. You're total shit on close quarters (SPG)
4. You dont want to get spotted (SPG)
5. Usually long reloading time

hit me on xfire or ingame when you want lessons
Dont go out in middle of map without cover. Also when the arrow is green you aim at something means you will penetrate the armor and do damage. If its red, it will just not go through
