When a road work is added, it should have a job for receiving Building Materials, Gypsum, Pipes, Machines, Tools, Machine Parts, Sand, Gravel and producing Dirt. Maybe also hauling Machines and Tools away when they need different ones. I think adding a coordinate point for the job would not be a lot effort compared to designing the rest of the road work, and would make them more interesting. Sometimes a road work is quite big like the current construction in Doherty and the jobs should match it.

In addition a low speed limit could be created.

Players don't see license plates on trailers and some other vehicles like NRG or FBI Truck without a mod. They can install a mod or not as they choose. A license plate is probably better as vehicles on base would all show the same location. That existing spawn dialog could show it if it is not practical to add to the list.

From this I know both that it is vehicle number 6 for /rm 6, its type and location.

Seems like a reasonably nice suggestion, though the problem I see with number plates is, if I remember correctly, other players can't see your number plates like /mycars, so you'd still have a hard time figuring out which one to unspawn unless the vehicle is already in base.

The Redstone Expressway has been updated with small improvements

* 90° turns have been replaced with curved roads for smoother driving.
* Minor adjustments have been made to the entrance of the bridge.
* Vegetation has been refined for a more realistic look.
* A new gas station has been added.
