That looks much cooler now! 
All it needs now is maybe some "bezel-like" details (so it doesn't look too plain on the cab area) and then it'd look even more cooler! hehe

btw I remaking the excavator body to make it look more nicely. It won't be that boxy. Also I'll add some mirrors, and rails or how is it called.

I made these low quality to make them look like an original game element, also to maintain performance for people with slow PC.

btw after all these excavator modifications, the file size only bigger with 24kb.

Well I think that is a dump or some kind of gravel trailer. I get the shape from here:

For the empty trailer platform: It's simply can't done because that's how the game works. Sometimes it doesn't applies any "extra" to the vehicle. I can't do anything about that. If you referring to the empty flat trailer extra, I thinking about that too to put something on that...
