Zwarts topic; Admins (from my knowledge) have never ran a server as owner before ( could be wrong here ) would you give your server you worked so hard on over to someone who hasn't done such a thing before? He can't give admins access to server stuff since there isnt an FTP/UCP built in there. Mick would probably have to make one himself.

Like i said to you. I'd return only if we got a bit of input/cooperation from mick. The staff team actually learn to get on, not arguing etc, or making up rules.

Theres a few of us here that have experience with servers, Hax has been doing it for many years, decades even, im not sure. Ive been studying it for this whole year. Plus ive been running a Minecraft server with a friend lately. You just have to find different people, because you rarely ever find professional programmers and network administrators in the same person.
Theres tonnes of us that are capable, having Mick on their side, active or not, he can still guide whomever is running it along.

**Team as in team work. Cooperation, It's nice to have a server that actually runs like clockwork. Not gonna discuss it here, but i think we need to assign more roles to admins/moderators, since some are active at the forum more than in game. (Just a thought.), we could also help Joshy webdev side, mick with the gamemode dev. someone in charge of stopping/restarting the server (prior server experience like you mentioned TS). There's tonnes of things that could be done. Can we discuss this at the staff section maybe? seperate topic?

That exact attitude , shows all of us , that the power you got from mick went to your head. I am not a scripter you know that, so that whole argument is invalid.  All i said in this topic was, we are a community with alot of voices, but it doesnt help when you are so stubborn or arrogant and just turned into a cocky dude.


If you really wanted to help CT, you would have said, ok, gimme some examples of good things we could consider etc etc. But no, all i read is, ''I'' ''We'' . It aint a power show bro.

I was always looking @ mapping board to see what parts of the CT maps i could incorporate into the script somehow.

thats the most QQ message i have ever seen. What konali says is exactly my thought especially for you you became one big arrogant kid since you were scripter but other than locking topics and being on exams for 4 months ive never seen you do anything. And now suddenly when such a topic appears you "graduated yesterday and wanted to work now", just lol.

Even if i actually cared to make updates and doesnt care about school, after the first update people would want another, updates arent the problem.
What people needs is some fucking PATIENCE, they want everything to be done instantly. Thats not how it works. And thats not how it will work, thats the way bugs are being done.
But as i said, if you considered i didn't do anything, then there you go, i resigned, so you have the enjoyment to feel you was right. All i wanted was to help CT. But looks like anything you do isn't enough to feed the server.
And like i said, i hope CT gets some scripter that actually spents 24 hours scripting stuff and doesn't give a fuck about his real life.
Honestly, between being scripter of CT or graduate from high school and get a decent job, i prefer the 2nd one. CT doesn't feed me or buys me a car. Just sayin.

When the owner no longer shows a real interest in his project, its bound to negative spirals. We all know that mick hasnt been active anymore since early 2012. Everything after that was just a 1 day inspiration and then 3 months nothing.

The lack of updates make things boring, and to be honest i always considered achievements a thing that destroyed the real fun out of convoy trucking, which was to my opinion the massive convoys of 40 players and above.

I have suggested, i have contacted mick about improving the convoy bonu per player that gets added to the convoy, no response. In the end it is convoy trucking, but it hasnt felt like that since achievements got added to my opinion.

another thing i want to state out is, that im dissapointed into the scripters that mick hired. All they did achieve to my opinion was locking topics, promissing stuff but in reality just showing off their power. Little suggestion they promised never got added and so on. I have not stated this before, but i really felt the scripting rank was abused to show some sort of power glory. Thats how i feel about it, and thats what killed my fun for CT.

After all this is my opinion, and it is feedback in some sort of way.

There are still people here that care about CT, it doesnt matter if they have been inactive 125 days or 2 days, everyone that enjoyed CT just knows what they are talking about.


I think these suggestions would help the server in a simple way in the near future.

   
• Improve convoy bonus. Stimulate that 40+ convoy feeling again.
• (maybe) Car trading, just for the fun and give an extra dimension to carshows.
• No more achievements PLEASE.
• Complete the mission variarty to island like MC/sandus.
• Allow staff to held regular events paid from server money.
• (maybe) change the host location
• Businesses ( for example, make every gas station ownable and set own prices ( with a min/max rate offcourse)
• Allow us admins to do something about club bases being hogged, but we are limited if it comes to this. '' Yes we can audit them but thats all we can do actually'' I would suggest, if we find a club base to be breaking rules, lets increase the base price for a month as penalty and stimulation to get things organised again.
