I broke my two side fans, replaced them, but the new ones are rubbish and are super loud even when on low rpm..

So i have taken off the side pannel.. Is this safe or a good idea until i can replace the fans again? i know it sounds stupid but i dont want to damage anything

Can someone explain the water bug please? it seems to disapear when my camera is at a certain angle sometimes?

only seems to happen in WC.. my mods have worked fine for ages now they appear to be broken, only noticed this about a week ago and not installed anything since then

Can someone please make me those signatures like the one i have using this image? everytime i do it, it fails and i cant work out why.. ive done both manual and automatic methods and they both wont work.

I want to get timecyc but i have found many variations and dont know what one is best, or i should use.

Can someone show me one they recommend?
I want to increase draw distance and already use enhancer so dont need to increase details, i know some timecyc mods change the details in the sky and weather which could be good.

Also if you wouldnt mind explaining how to install it? i am a super mod noob on gta and have no idea what goes where

[Club GARAGES]

I noticed a help topic about a player who crashes around area's due to lag from all the vehicles. This happens at truck stops and club bases from what i've tested. Also club basese are an issue for many because there is few of them, they cost a bomb and take up a fair amount of room in the map.

Here is my sollution;

Club GARAGES

Club garages would be small inclosures/pen's with a gate/door that only club members can open as normal.
This saves space and makes it easy for more to be added.

Inside the clubs small inclosure you will need atleast enough space to spawn vehicles like a truck and trailer.
This means that there will not be lots of vehicles in one space, max of two would be spawned inside a garage at once.

The vehicles can be spawned from a menu like the ones used in shops.
When using this menu you will get two options, Club owned vehicles OR Password vehicles (Vehicles with passwords would be harder to code and add to the system but i thought i would add this too).
Club owned vehicles will be automaticlly shared into the garage.
Where as the password vehicles must be added manually by the owner, he/she simply drives to the garage and uses a command such as /garage park [vehicle name] [vehicle password] . (the password for the vehicle would need to be saved into a database)

Now, when a player uses the garage, they can select either club owned or player owned, once they have chosen that first option there would be a list of all vehicles linked to that section. They pick the vehicle they want, it would be spawned in the garage for them to use. IF they pick passworded vehicles, the password could be shown to the player in a popup such as those used to fine players while as a cop.
If the player leaves the vehicle for more than 5 minutes without use, it restores to the garage ready to be used again.

Also the concept for this idea would work in truck parks too!

The title basiclly explains it but I think players should be able to /lock their cars for a time, maybe until the player relogs.

So, /lock [car name]
/unlock [car name]

When a car is locked ONLY the OWNER can access it.
I think this should be applied to club vehicles too because sometimes when you use a club vehicle someone can steal it if you get out briefly which is very annoying (happens to me at cars shows all the time)

I think a system like this would be a great improvement but maybe my idea needs some refinement so please comment with any changes you would make or if you like this idea..

Well first I would like to thank mick and any other staff member who assisted in adding the huge amount of one slots because they where a problem but now they are as easy as they should be to get which helps out the new guys!

But I was thinking what next? Personally I think something like this needs to be done for the 2-4 slot houses. Possibly higher but the big houses are supposed to be rare but also they shouldn't be near impossible to get.

The solutions I could think of;
Add the houses with no parking but make them 2-4 slots but slightly cheaper (this could be done with even bigger slot houses too)

Add a basic house map, literally an island maybe near to LV that only houses houses, parking and a shop. I'm sure this shouldn't take the mapping team very long because I know they can create amazing things so doing something simple should be a walk in the park.


I made this not to suggest but to talk about and get others opinions then maybe can come up with a solution which we could then suggest

Today i was driving around looking at people houses, not really sure why but its because im looking to buy a 4-6 slot house and wanted to see what they was like.

There is many houses on the map that are not setup, just wondering if therse a reason for this?

The main ones i found where in MC, maybe mick missed them by mistake?

just got my new macbook pro today and wanted to install samp. I'm currently downloading GTA san Andrea's from steam, which is the mac version.

can i get samp on mac so i can play cvt?

if i can please can you explain if i need any patches or things installed to make it work.

please dont suggest i install windows or something onto my mac, i know this already and its not something i can do due to my small storage drive.

Like in real life you can open an account and deposit money for a set amount of time and get more interest because you cant withdraw the money..

How it should/could work;
You can only deposit money not withdraw any until the savings account has finished
You can pick between for example, one week, two weeks, one month, two months, six months to deposit your money
The longer option you pick the higher the interest will be

The reason i suggest this is because this is a way to save money and make sure you cant spend it so i think it could help alot of players save for larger houses because it takes months to save and buy a big house so while you wait you could make a savings account and do missions to earn extra.. for example the gap between three slots and four slots would take a while to make so you could deposit spare cash into a savings account and do missions to make more while you wait for savings to come through too

I've been wanting to update my clubs donations page on our sub forums for a while but i cant find a good way to display it.
I was thinking of doing a table but i dont understand how to insert tables into these forums, i know theres a table button but i cant work out how to make a table from it..

Please can someone either;

• Explain how to make a table
• Make me a table (Will consider giving you either money or a staff position in the club if you are willing to keep helping us out)
• Explain another method to display donations onto a sub forums page for a club that is easy to update

[lack of bases]

Right first i would like to say this is not a 'sugggestion' but a converstation between players.

I would like to ask the players of CVT if they also feel the club base system needs some improvements?
Here is what i think; although i love the club system on cvt i do think the base system ruins the clubs. For starters clubs rarely ever become avalible and when they do are rushed and sold very quickly (from what i have seen) which makes it impossible to get hold of a club base. I do understnad how small clubs with little funds may be a pain when they buy bases as they cant keep them long but i do think the current system makes it to difficult to get a base in the first place due to lack of bases in the first place and then the fact they sell instantly

My solutions;
Map in more bases, there is many places where bases could be made
Add more variety of cost ranged bases
A system of bidding for a base
A system where a base que is used, you add you club to the list and who ever is on top of the list is shown a base and its cost and can either say they want or dont want it. if they dont its passed down to the next club


Let me know what you think and if you agree? maybe mick or another staff member will notice and attempt action

Since the server is down i used some spare time to put together a map.
The map includes many houses of many sizes and also a big farm. Also there is a 'club base' with a dock and then a few shops along with a lighthouse.

IMAGES ON S.A.C.C FORUMS!

my suggestion is to be able to unspawn your cars, like /rm BUT leave them unspawned.. this would be helpfull to players like me who have straight drives by which i mean car, behind car, behind car, and so on... I know there is alteratives to parking at my house but why would i spend $7,000,000 on  a house and not park there? I think its just a small suggestion but would be somthing that just makes life easyer..

Guys please dont reply said: Oh use car parks, or buy a new house or somthing along those lines as i know they exists and already use them but this is a suggestion to improove house parking.

Also if you got to my house in the valley you will see my problem which may help to explain why i think this should be added as i know im not the only one with this problem

My idea is to add an ingame notepad, Just like notepad application you can get.. Having it ingame allows the user to not have to tab out to view things like i have shown in my images, This is only somthing small that somone like me will find very useful and maybe others will not but i still think its a very handy little to add..

It could be added to the /menu or maybe /notepad command.

Today after my event we headed to LV airport for some drag race's
Here is just a quick video of what we got up to!

-What type of event? Cruise then into drag races
-Where? Starting at 4D and ending at LV airport

On the day please wait in the car park to the side of 4D to avoid traffic and crash's on the roads, once i am at 4D and online please join my ID so i can do countdowns and keep in easy contact incase somone splits of from the group for example. Once we finish the drive we will move to LV Aiport where we can drag race, if you would like to take part in the drag race's please try to find a pair and i will call up two racers, set a countdown then off you go.. After your race please come back but not in the path of the next racers.

**NOTICE**: The best photographer who takes a collection of atleast 20 images from the event and posts it on the S.A.C.C Forum page, in the correct place. Will win a prize of 50k.

I am currently making a new map on mta that im putting a lot of working into and want to show it to a few friends but before i do that i want to add it to my local server so i can add moving gates and thing like that.. I've seen videos on how to add gates that open on command ( you type /gate1 ) for example, but i want it how cvt works, as in when you aprouch the gate opens.

Please can somone explain how this is done, also for a cookie if you can tell me how to make my map load before the cars load.. my cars on my local keep falling through my private island

I've been using the ingame camera for a long time to take pictures of car shows and things but the other day i noticed it wont work..

When in game i take a picture as normal but it doesnt seem to be getting saved anywhere, Pictures should save to the gallery in the GTA san andreas user files but there is nothing there?
