We were having some problems with Romanian people after Smash started some fight between CB 1 and CB 5 and after he came back and we were talking about
generalizing countries. Then I asked why Muslims get generalized so fast and are named Terrorists.

Then smash said that Muslims are a shit people and after that he said "Allah u Akbar". I don't know if any staff member knows what "Allah u Akbar" means but most extremists use the term when they bomb or attack. And me as a Muslim I find this offensive because it shouldn't be used that way and it isn't meant to use that way. Nor he should have said that my folk are shit people.
And by this, I would like to see people respecting anyone in this server whatever their religion is. I don't know if mods already do this but still gonna say it. People who disrespects any religion should get a showrule on their screen.

side note: SmashHammer has been banned too many times for trolling/disrespect and others.

Today 31 December 2014 we discussed some serious business about the maps in Convoy Trucking.
Before I start, thank you for what you've all done for the community. The maps are great, but can be better now with the new editors we can use.

We've discussed some about the mapping in the server with an official mapper. And we argued a bit how the island maps are too "squary".
We all as a community would like to see some curves. Yes the gang zones are pain in the ass. But how many new players haven't asked for help even with the gang zones? Way too many to actually keep them. And as an old player, I never watch the map but orient myself by the buildings and objects around myself.
So at the end we all made a list of what we would like to see in the next maps. Some mights be hard to map, some aren't fun for you but maybe it is for the community
Also THIS IS AN IDEA TO GIVE TO YOU GUYS, NOT A SUGGESTION SO DON'T LOCK IT.
Side note: This is the only post were the official ideas will be in the topic, I will add some to the list if community wants to add something.

The ideas:

   
• - Variation on the heights ( Alcatraz is the only map with hills, we truckers like to climb a hill it's something challenging.)
• - Curves, no more 90°C turns. (Gang zones don't have to be created in these areas.)
• - Variation of used objects ( We keep seeing city buildings over & over. We don't have a single island where its a desert with few houses and like 1 gas stations every xx KM/Miles.)
• - Connection of islands is an amazing opportunity to use the 3rd idea.
• - Deleting objects. (seeing something change on the San Andreas map would not bad. It will only make Convoy Trucking look better.)
• - Dirt roads or challenging roads. (Mount chilliad is actually the perfect place to try it out. you need a minimum score to get these missions and voila Mount chilliad won't be that huge pain in the ass. Also Dirt roads we mean like the contruction site in san fierro doherty. We want places like that)
• - More will be added. Post below and the community will see if its a good idea.

Streamers manage to stream their voice and music while the music doesn't also go through the microphone.
On this link you can see a girl streamer (highlight of stream) record her voice and also listen to music. and yes she hears the music because she was singing for 1 sec along with the song. But how the fuck does the microphone not record the music? She uses speakers as some of you may see it on the room cam.

Everyone in the server wants chilliad missions, they are challenging, fun ,etc...
but why isn't it allowed? I mean, Mick must have a reason to not script the misisons.
And if the reason is: Too many ask/complains for help of players that are falling.


I've got a solution for that, what if admins agree that no one is allowed to get helped around/on mount chilliad. If you fall/fail, your problem. Can't ask for admin help, nor complain on forum cuz the topic will be deleted.
Edit: You guys aren't even forced to help anyone anywhere, so this shouldn't be a problem  :p


So the question is: Why is chilliad missions not allowed?

I want to be able to set a minimum score for the convoy I want to lead.
So you can set a minimum score just like convoy password in /Settings.
Find it useless? /care

DTU will create weekly a new post in Event board about the convoy.
There will be a poll so you guys can vote what load you wanna do!
This convoy will start on every saturday on 19:30 (7:30 pm) GMT+1, I will post a timezone event calender in the convoy event post.


This is a convoy created by DTU so we will try to drive in DTU trucks, if there aren't enough, feel free to use your own or public trucks. It ill be appreciated if you guys use the Dutch Truckers United trucks. This will sponsor the club and also will donate the club some money so we can upgrade to a bigger base and have more trucks.

I'm here to suggest a new arrest system for cops. An hour ago I was playing cop and I arrested some random dude that was wanted, I actually stole the other cop's arrest so I gave him half of the arrest payment.


So my suggestion is that if its possible to create a system where a cop that tried to stop the suspect and is in a close range of the suspect will get payed for half of the actual payment.
If the cop leaves the range of suspect he won't be payed.


tl;dr? You are main cop, other cops help you. Other cop press Sub key & is in rage? = will be payed for small amount.

Incredible bought this house couple days ago and couldn't enter the parking with his car because the gate was derping.
Joshy gave the password to him so he could open it. But isn't it possible to let the gate system detect the 3 people who live there, so that the gate opens whenever the owner is nearby? Just like club base gates?

At the moment, you can only use the vipskin feature only as Trucker, chauffeur, pilot. It would be nice to have vipskin as cop as there is nothing to hide.
excuse 1: - Other players can't see you as cop so they will think you are normal. FALSE, You see a big fat blue square on the map. You can't miss it.
excuce 2: - Useless suggestion. nah, it's allows fun to get something new. Useless things are stuff like the breathalazyererere thingy.


New map on website


I came with an idea while i was playing with a police. This isn't close to reality, but it would be nice to have a whole map LIVE on my 2nd screen, now Dobby told me that it's possible to import this live map onto the website. I have no clue if this will be heavy for the server. The live map is usefull for cops and thiefs. Cops can see what route is easiest way to get to thief. And thief can see what road to take to not get caught from cops.


1: i'm sure many people will complain that thiefs already wait for the cop to get miles/KMs away from themself to start stealing. Easy fix! Before you can be able to see the map, the website have to check if you already have a badge or not.


2: Most thiefs have already a badge. true, but it's possible to detect the ingame job you are doing (this is what joshy told me). So the website will check if the player is not a thief. If he/she isn't a thief then the LIVE map will start working. If thief, it will give you a warning that you have to change class before being able to use the map. if you go cop. then immideatly go thief to still have the map, the website will kick you from the map.

If i'm not wrong, in the past we had the possibility to change our forum names by ourself right?
Why is this disabled? I don't remember any problem with the names. We have admins/mods that can change bad-names (eg: penisman). So why is this disabled?

As far as I know is the club system atm is really lame. It's just a list with players on it and a base acting like a public parking.


My suggestion is about the payment u can get by doing missions for the club.


  As many of you know, when you use a club truck, a small part of the money you get from the mission you've done goes to the club itself.
  The money that a club has is now only used for Billboards, Clubbase and Vehicle.
  Now, as a club owner you should be able to pay your truckers. Cuz they do missions for the club with clubtrucks but they only receive money from the job itself.
  What if there was an option to pay your club members that had been trucking with the club-truck?  By this I mean
 
--> Club-members-that-have-done-trucking-missions-with-clubtruck-list.
  - A list where you can see every trucker that used club-truck and have done missions with it.
  - And next to the name of the member the total amount of money he earned by doing the missions (by this I mean, the part that has gone to the club)
  - And when the club-owner double clicks on the member that is on the list, he will see all the missions the member has done. (It will only show the missions of         the month (so right now that will be march.).)
  - And ofcourse the club-owner can put in a dialogue box the amount of money he wants to send to the trucker. (The amount should be saved and will be payed     monthly IF the trucker has done any missions with clubtruck)
  - The money that the trucker receive is from the club funds.
   
    Ofcourse the club-owner can stop the payment by putting ' 0 ' in the dialogue box.


eg:
Clubowner: Twido
Clubtrucker: Joshy
Clubtrucker: Tyler(girl)

Twido says: "Oh nice Joshy and Tyler has done some missions with the clubtrucks."
                    "Josy has earned till now $100.000, nice. I'm going to pay him $15.000 monthly now cuz he is earning like this for a long time now."
                    "Tyler earned $127.687, nice. I'm also going to pay him $15.000."

Next month:
   
Twido says: "Oh Joshy has again earned around $100.000. Well he still earns the $15.000 this month."
                    "Wow looks like Tyler didn't do anything. Well let me change the $15.000 to 0."

Now since we all know its always Staff Vs Players. The fight is always about a warning or a ban that they received ingame or because they replied in the section in "Requests & reports". To fix this problem, I suggest the web developers to hide the Requests & Report topic for normal players. Only make it visible for staff members.


Now I've been thinking about this and I know I'm going to hear some replies, and they are:



Q: What is going to happen to bug reports? We don't want double bug reports!!


A: Well bug reports are ment to be fixed ASAP, not after a month. (Some bugs might be too big and can take a bit longer then usual)




Q: What if someone is reported and want to defend himself?

A: Well easy. Thanks to Mick and all the other that helped to create the forum, we have a Private message system. Staff can private message the players that are involved in the report.


Q: "Can we lock this suggestion, I don't like it?"


A: No, wait for everyone so that people have the oppertunity to like or dislike it.






EDIT: Stay on topic! I don't wanna see another Members Vs Staff fight. I've had enough of it, keep it clean and just tell if you like it or not. Wanna start a fight then go pm him/her

so, whenever you get jailed now in CT your car gets respawned back to where it was originally parked. I suggest that if you get jailed , your vehicle that you were driving at that time when u got jailed by the cop , that is spawn at the underground parking at the police station. If there isn't a parking underground then there is enough parking at the police station to park them. So let me explain this suggestion in more details.
Some mins ago i was jailed while i was afk, i forgot to use the afk command so i had fines and got jailed.. yep shit happens, but i was somewhere around LV and spawned at SF when i got unjailed. yep i'm too lazy to do /kill and start over my trip from happyland. So why not just spawn the car at the undeground parking in sf, lv, ls, other police station has parking too. but this suggestion doesn't apply to thiefs, if thiefs steal a car their car just disappear like always, this only happens to people who were trucker and got arrested. Or only for people who goes afk and forgets to put /7.

There are probably better things to add to this suggestion, but i don't know any yet. feel free to add stuff and ideas to this suggestion and maybe it could be better then what i suggested.

Yeah, summer is near and its time for sth new. Yep i'm a noob in mapping, but i love creating houses like this, of course there are bugs, but bugs are there to be fixed. I did NOT use MTA map editor. The house will be completed ever. The house you see on the pics is still in PROGRESS, so after XXweeks it will get an interior with moveable door to enter the house.
