It came after windows update. WinKey + S > "Windows update". See if there's any available.

I didn't get it straight away after the update. It appeared this morning around 11am. After i updated at 3am.

Windows 8 isn't supported anymore, do the upgrade to 8.1.

cause I turned them off, and yes its legal because remember I had to reinstall

The metro apps don't have to full screen anymore, and neither does the start menu. Microsoft is introducing Cortana (basically like Siri) and they are supposedly removing internet explorer.

I had a play around with Windows 10 in a VM a month or two ago. Start menu is pretty neat, as is the new browser. Worth upgrading
