I think Mick has solved this problem by setting house price to 500k and then buying it.

The gate will stay. If it's an issue for this house, I will add fences so it's less accessible.
I agree that house prices don't need to be this high anymore. There's 920 houses for sale at the moment and I think we'll need to gradually lower them.

For the record, I didn't give Ethan the house, I reserved it for him so he could buy it with his money. Since he was the one who mapped the island, I decided he should be able to live there. I did give houses to moderators in the early days, but prices were much lower back then and it was easier to afford one - the "Mansions" cost about 350k-500k. Dr_Hax still owns the house I gave the him then.

Do you think if we (as in you) lower the prices a bit, people will be interested in getting to the 100 loads + buying a house? Thus, sticking around more because:

I don't think we'll lower the prices drastically. There will be most difference for high slot houses with gates and helipads.

Miss the times when 1slots were under 500k. I really can't say the exact amount but I'm sure it was under 500. Anyways, thanks Mick for rethinking about the value. It is a bit too high

Since like ever i was thinking, why would you pay 1 time more just because you have a gate/parking/helipad. If you have all that you need to pay 3 times more wich is too much in my opinion. Lowering the prices atleast by half like it was 3 years ago would be nice.
And instead of paying 1 time more if you have a gate/parking/helipad you would pay like 1/3 of the original price more.

Decreasing the prices step by step will be a good idea.I remember house prices was rised when everybody was fighting even for 1 slot houses(Like 2 years ago).

Gates are added via maps. You'll have to find out what the map name is, and remove the map if you wish. Then ask mick (unless you can do it) to change the price, since its stupidly high.

thats true, but why hasnt anyone else bought it yet? loans are easy, and more than enough people have the money to own it, its a waste.
the only reason 56 isnt being bought is because of that stupid gate lol. 84 mil for that, its not like its a mansion enclosed in walls like the golf club in LV. that is a reasonable reason to have a gate.

If you're removing the gate remove the helipad as well so the price drops even more 

keep the helipad, it keeps it unique to living on the hills, like Hax's house.
