Need HELP!

well today i tryed to make a usb bootable for xp for a friend and i did it all correctly and now

there is a usb plugged in

How i do i fix

Try right clicking computer - manage - disk management in the new window - find the usb - right click it (its a box normally with a colored line in it) - delete partition or something - wait and the line should turn black - right click it again - new simple volume (by default windows makes the partition use the whole drive) - just go through that and it should work

UNLESS windows has lost the ability to read the disk (in rare cases its been corrupted by Apple's Mac partitions if done on a Mac, or Linux's partitions if done on a Linux) in this case try using one of those 2 OS's to reset.
