Question about house parking

Hello, I've always wanted to know why we aren't allowed to park on the grass or whatever of our houses, since that's what most  do in real life.
edit: forgot to add, we actually buy the house(not rent) so it's effectively our property. We should be able to, right(or not I guess )?

Cause it makes the server look messy. Its the same with car parks. If its outside of the white lines, some staff clamp if its terrible. Otherwise we usually re-park.

I can understand carparks, but with houses(small ones in this case) there really isn't enough space to make it look messy. Maybe it'll make it look like a typical neighborhood in South Africa
