I have nothing more to say on the matter. If you don't like how a staff member acts, start a complaint. If its about them, they cant lock it, last time i checked. But im just a moderator what do i know. Just don't target staff and learn how to use constructive criticism. Or however the hell its spelled. Basically it means, be nice, but point out the bad sides to them. Example:

back to the topic at hand, this place would be much more enjoyable and admins you will save yourselves alot of time if we could just let the petty shit go...really? you ban someone for flying to low? this is just silly...this is only one example i can pull out many from this past week alone. why will we want to come here n risk being banned for simply trying to have fun (no harm to other players) when we could just go to another server and fly low without punishment...
now, since i KNOW someone is gonna come here n try to point out why this ban was correct, remember this is just an EXAMPLE..

Players shall be free to express everywhere (Except on others players reports/appeals).

Warning them won't solve it since they will complain and complain, about everything, everytime and everywhere. Punish them isn't the solution since it just will make them rage against staff team and staff team will say "Ohh My GOD! He's attacking us, lets ban or warn him (again)".
I know, people as people and as staffs have different tolerances. But on this place and this time, is the time to change it, and could start ingoring some shits here and there.
Players understand a warn/ban like an aggression, so, does it will make things better? Of course, no.
Do you know why Konali hate and rarely ban people who break the rules? Because he knows it will make them rage against him and against staff team. He knows how to talk and make people understand before punish them. Some staff's here should start to act like this, and I guaratee you the number of persons banned or punished will reduce.

No, I didn't read all replies here, and I don't think I need to post it. And NO, I'm not against any side (staffs or players). I wasn't punished unfairly and see it like a way to cry about.

Some people says we need "New Staff" or "Old Staff Team" but NO, we don't. All we need, is change attitude of our actual staffs. Thinking 2 times before punish someone, or talk with person to make him understand the rules, will be 10,100,1000x better than punish him and make him rage against it. Like I said, some admins don't have the patience to do it, but they need, since they're in a position where they will find different people with different ways to think, so, impose rules and make them follow like blind horses won't solve this problem.
I'm saying it, because I'm not so active anymore at server, but always I'm visiting the forum to see what's going on, and all I see, except one or two positive posts, is people fighting and crying.

Staff, we're dumb and somepeople don't speak English, show them rules and punish them for it, won't solve since they didn't even understood the first warning.

@To staffs who already do it: don't blame yourself, you're acting right, talking and talking, making them understand before punish.

Now, I hope don't see anyone (even staffs) coming against me for it.

That was the best reply in this entire topic Polaco, I never thought of it this way but you're right, I shall start acting different. Instead of punishing saying "we're the boss" "listen to us or punish" we want to have peace because the players want to cooperate, not control them and make them behave out of fear (I know many people aren't even intimidated but you get the point) because with fear there is a point where they just don't care anymore about what the staff say or do and can't be controlled anymore.

Morale of the story: make players want to cooperate and follow the rules, don't try to control everyone through fear and staff commands.

Konali was way smarter than most of the current staff members, no offense intended to anyone but that's just how it is. I am saying this because of the way he used to solve problems can't even be compared with ways some staff members use now. Instead of talking to players, trying to see what is their problem and make them behave appropriately through conversation, this is what they do:



Either ban or warn, it doesn't matter. What matters is that they are acting like brainless machines programmed only to blindly follow 'guidelines' (which are there only to guide, not much more) even when they know it won't solve a problem at all, but only make it bigger.
Now, i don't want anyone to get me wrong, i am not saying that Konali was soft or that he allowed breaking of rules. All i am saying is that he usually tried to solve problems without use of warns/bans. Perhaps if more staff members used similar methods, CT wouldn't be such a warzone it is now.
