• Receives software updates first

Galaxy S4

• SD Card slot
• 13MP camera (though looking at comparisons, it's pretty similar to the Nexus's 8MP camera)
• 2MP front facing camera compared to 1.3MP
• Better battery life

I personally love my Nexus 5. It's easy as fuck to unlock the bootloader and root it too. Two commands was all it took.

Not just those two, Ubuntu is being ported to phones. It's not currently supported on the N5 that I know of though.

I was actually giving Hax the choice, since i know he hates Apple, i was curious as to which one, i wasnt asking everyone.

For the info.. im upgrading to my nokia 5230 running s60.. Thats fucking solid stone unlike the brickphones from samsung with a choppy android on them.. If you dont buy the +300€ Samsung phone.. you get a shit where the android system takes 200MB of the 256MB internal memory.. Also they keep dropping out of the network without noticing anything. You dont know that you're dropped out untill your friends tell you that they cant call you or send messages.

Will be probably looking out for the Jolla (Nokia's fired workers made a new company) and making a phone that will run some 'Sailfish' while having most of google play's apps still functional in it.
Other equivalent is some nokia lumia..

iPhone is not an option, too weak and shatters so easily. Same with the fancy pants S3 or S4.. Just too expensive and i dont have need for phone that has millions of useless features. i will mostly use for calling and checkin emails and navigation.

You only named Samsung. Samsung uses shitty touchwiz on top of Android for their phones. Phones direct from Google have stock Android. Or just root the phone and flash a custom ROM.

If you don't have a need for a phone that can do all the things a smartphone can do, just get a regular phone. No need to say Android sucks because of Samsung. There's no logic there.

my experiences with the android i had installed on it was just terrible.. Slow, unresponsive.. crashing.

256MB of internal memory.. Im using 8GB SD card on it but on the apps.. How the fuck im supposed to force them to install totally on the SD card.
I done some tricks to it it install most of the files of an app to SD card but it wont let me download from the google play after while due to "no space in device" while the SD card is nearly empty but there is just 15MB left in the internal. Thats just preventing them to be downloaded.
I already had to flash the stock ROM once when the android system update bricked the phone. Wish there would be some cfms to this shit but no.
My wife got ZTE Blade and that thing opens up google search often randomly while on homecsreen. And when browsing internet. It still pops up the search even when not touching anything. I dont know are we blessed with shit phones or buggy androids or what but the user experiences from both of us of android is not positive..

Yeah.. I got new cool silverish Duct tape covers for 4.99€ (Price of roll of duct tape) Which helds the piece of shit together. The back cover snapped in half when i tried to remove it. Then the side panel came off same time..
