Recent server upgrade/server issues.

but shane...: im quite sure Rahail made more hours in the past six months thsn the Australians did in total as nation. Rahail would be one of the few playerd that spend so many hours online he would be knowing what hes talking about:)

Globally to everyone: someone in a different timezone may still be active but inactive towards you, but due to the timezone differences he or she aint that  inactive at all

There are some players (staff) who are completely inactive (not taking different timezones into account). Rahail knows what he's talking about and so do I cause I'm supporting him right now. I've been online most of the time everyday, and I know who are the people that are active and inactive (some are inactive due to holidays, but others aren't even on holidays. If you haven't got time to play or be staff, just resign. Being staff isn't child's play.)

I have 30+ hours a week logged. So it must be a timezone difference to TheGame seeing me online, although im active 9pm til about 10am GMT depending on how much of a bum im feeling.
if i feel like playing ill jump on, if not, ill go do other stuff. The only reason why i was inactive before was my server. But that's old news, bored of it

because i feel staff is mainly being attacked for inactivity, where if i remember correctly 85% achieved their activity thresholds from march till july. 1 or 2 mods have been really inactive on a regular basis and thevrest did what they had to do eack week.

How could i sum them all up? add everything we've discussed to the opening post? also, could an admin unlock the voting please?

What's the activity threshold? is it this "Hour a day" that marccc mentioned earlier in the thread?. Im not "attacking" anybody, im just summing up what i've gathered. A few other people have noted too, we need more moderators from different timezones. There's times when ive been on, there's been no admins for hours. Which reminds me,

How do people feel about an auto unmute timer? obviously if they're muted for flooding attempt. start a timer, once the timers up, check for admins, if there's admins on, notify them of the mute, if there isnt, unmute them. But if the admins have muted, just send a message to admins "Player X is muted after X minuites". Just a suggestion. After all this is to adress issues.

Unmute thingy has been suggested but never got a response from the big boss so idk.

about a clear gap in the usa timezone thats simple and i will explain that now.
when hobo resigned we had/have still about 4-6 staff members including admins to cover that timezone/period. with such an amount of staff to cover the non peak hours period theoreticallt it dhould be rnough. Keep in mind that 24 hours of staff online is not posdible.

besides hobo leaving idk what  happrned to the rest as ig is not my timezone and therefore for Ethan/thesandman to notice big gaps of no staff.

After hobo left, the only ones covering that timezone are calvin, kenworth, sandman, ethan and me.
Calvin was along with me most of the nights but last week he dissapeared ._.
I dont see kenworth from long time ago xD

i try to cover kenworth and calvin asses when they are not online but cmon i cant be 24/7 on the server and also i had exams the last week, that explains the lack of staff at nights the last weeks.

I have that script ready and waiting for Mick. He needs to ask, and i'll send it him. It works.

Theoretically it should be enough. But it really isn't Kona. As a player. I should be confident in knowing, if a hacker came online they would be banned. Smokeys getting old, he can't detect anything. The best anti cheat, is admins. We all know it. If there's no admins on, the "Pink hacker" could come back and wreak havok. Thus, killing the server more than it already is.

But as you said, it's not your timezone Ethans one of the "Active"  admins in game. TheSandman seems to do his job on the forum Which is cool, sharing roles and all that good job. Mick's been on the forum, why hasn't he bothered reassuring us here

Vikingo is not online at this hours, he leaves me alone at 18 - 19 pm and goes to sleep, then im alone all night long, the one i forgot is branello   That guy is epic, but he leaves 1 or 2 hours after vikingo xD
