Hi everyone!
I got a problem on my roommates laptop (hp presario CQ56) with my GTA SA. when i start it in SAMP it gives me an error that goes like this : " GTA SA requires the latest version directX 9.0. But when i go to dxdiag it says

did that too again the same problem :S, the wierd thing is that it was working yesterday and today it isnt




addon: the game files are on a external hdd that i remove sometimes

Off topic: That is an awful laptop for gaming XD mine has like 4x of everything there

On topic: try uninstalling then reinstalling directX 11, I've never had DirectX problems and I have 11, so try that, revert drivers if possible

DirectX problems has no fix, you need to reinstall windows :/

Do not use directx uninstallers since they are scams / virus, you cant uninstall directx.

Well if you're such an expert, do you know why my game crashes when I go to advanced video settings? It's bugging the hell out of me and I'm forced to play on very low resolution

samp + mod combination bug. go into SP and change your resolution.
and go on youtube and search GTA SAMP Timecyc. Thats the best exe you can find. But, I cant give you the link because its an exe and technically that would be pirating and i dont feel like getting in trouble by admins
