Beelze is right. If you have a problem with this intersection, you should just slow down everytime you see someone else coming towards it, and let them pass before you.

it is possible to remove the ground in your maps using the function removebuildingforplayer. However in LV this may leave a rather large hole that would look ugly when covered

Thats what i meant, if you remove that road you will remove a big piece of road that will look ugly, roads are not something you remove that easy
