Yeah. All the IT guys i've had come to help with pc probs all say they recommend norton.

Just a word of advice though. Sometimes it can be overprotective. Eg; download a mod installer. It might think that its a virus. I have found this with some fsx downloads and torrents

I use common sense.

I also use HiJackThis and some other useful programs, it isn't anti-virus but if I feel I have a virus I use these tools.

I also use Microsoft Security Essentials with real-time protection turned off, so it's my on-demand scanner. But I usually use VirusTotal for most files.
