CB 9 should be just like any other CB

I know I will probably take some hating from this because "cb 9 is for cops to communicate and should always be seen by cops" or "it's been the way it is for 2 and a half years now.." or something like that. But anyway, I classed as a cop the other day for the first time in ages. I found it really annoying to see chat in cb 9 even though I was in a different cb. All cb chat shows up the same color, so I was mistaking the cb9 chat for chat in the cb I was in. Also, cops were spamming useless statements that got more than a little annoying.

My suggestion: make cb 9 just like any other cb. For example: you must be in the cb to see the chat. I think if cops want to be in a cb together so they can communicate, that's fine. But it was just bugging me seeing all their spam.

Well, I think channel 9 is for cops only and can only be viewed by cops, why not have an option in /settings to enable/disable it from view?

I understand cb 9 is for cops only...but when you are a cop and see message spam, what do you do? I couldn't tell the difference between cb9 chat and my normal cb because cops were spamming so much useless information. A toggle feature would be handy. I'm thinking: /cb 9 to turn the cb chat on, and /cb 19 to turn the cb chat off.....

I was wondering about the same but if someone is just spamming why don't you warn him. It's against rules, if he does it  so bad that You need to leave the cb.. well anyway +1 from me.

Its good for you and some other players , but what about the team work?

If one of the cops wanna tell something to all the cops, about some strategy to arrest a suspect then he is certainly not gonna pm everyone or tell them to come in cb.

Besides, many cops are noobs (100 scorers) , they are not much into cb thing.

All cops are one team, one cop should not be able to ignore his fellow cops.

Your suggestion got too much negative points.
And what is the positive point, nothing ? Just because one day some cops were talking more in cb, and you got annoyed of it so you suggested for its removal.

change to another cb? i'm always in CB 5 with kona, twitter, sjomp , etc... and yeah since i'm in another cb , is it not a big problem.. you can easly go to a random cb and just when u wanna talk .. just need to use * but you know this :p

Deff...if they really want to work as a team they can join /cb 9. But let's sit down and think about this long and hard....when have you ever seen cops these days work together in CVT? It's all about "stop ramming me to steal arrest". Is that teamwork?

When you are trying to read chat fast and drive at the same time, it is hard to tell the difference between cb 5 and cb 9 chat. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if cb 9 was a different color. But still...I think if cops really want to communicate and work as a team, they can go to cb 9. But I don't think this chat should effect other cops who just want to go about fining and arresting on their own...

Its not necessary cops will be saying "Unit 349" everytime, and cops usually don't speak anything, so maybe that time they didn't speak anything in cb9.

That would be good, infact.
Confusion of cbs would be solved, and it wont affect the current system as well.
