In this topic, I will be showing you how much money you can make with Planes on CVT. I'm making tests by myself and collecting all the useful database to analyse it and to see what you can make with each plane. The results will be shown below as the tests becomes done. PS: it's obvious that everyone has their own style of driving, i tried to drive the most regular as I could to make these tests, to collect the most correct data I could. (results can vary).

I would request this topic to be sticky, it will be helpful to all players to see and analyse the best vehicle for work.


Airplanes:


AT-400

- Money:

Cool, i made the flying achiev in 1 week ( 4 days total ) and it went faster for sure :) wrong section btw

Tbh, I'm not sure what board it should be under either..

And I got my airplane achievement, (when I was going for 1000 when achievements were 1000 missions) I hit 748 (then server restarted mid flight and changed to 500) and that took me 3 days. No life at all though
playing since 2010, moderator for over a year demoted for being an ass to an asshole then banned for speed hack then returned for awhile then dipped out

Its information about the server, so i think its cool enough to be in this board.

Cool indication for payouts:)  Sure it will be different but i think its nice to have an idea what you could earn :P

help child boards under > instructions, FAQs, tutorials..and maybe add a sticky once it has more information on it

Today i made Dodo, AT400 and Beagle tests. Tomorrow i might do the helis test, then van or truck or who knows what I'll choose :D
Im aiming to make tests with all the commercial vehicles, to have infos about every vehicle.

Problem with this is that missions are all different lengths. Sure, Airplane missions, there are only 6 airports (LS, SF, LV, SFi, LVi and WC) So taking a census of 30 different possible missions (6x5) is easy. When it comes to arctic, I think mick said somewhere that there are ~800 possible missions. Samples, plus a confidence interval is better. Take a sample, get a set of 30-40 missions (so you can assume that the sample is normal), find out the Sample Standard Deviation and Mean and use the T-Distribution to construct a confidence interval based on that information. I can easily do it, it would take me about 2 hours to do all the missions and report back to you.

hehe, i know storm, what i'm doing here is not an exact thing, it just gives people a panorama of each type of vehicle. Of course there can be diferences such as:

       
  • Diferent drive-styles
  • Talking on cb during missions, releasing throttle for a moment
  • If player deviates from the straight route to the target
  • If player hit something, he'll die and won't complete missions, causing variations to the time I set on the table
  • And of course, the errors that are inside my measuring.

But, for an overview, it's nice to see some differences between'em. 8)

its nice to see that you put some work on this but thb, this statics are far from accurate.
there is no way that a dodo pays almost the same as a shamal.
The AT400 pays the same as a shamal and is more harder to land / takeoff, no way it pays 100k more in 4 hours.

i suggest to collect the data over a timeperiod of 1 hour.

Goof, do a mission with Dodo. I was kind of :o when i saw that Dodo pays almost the same as the Shamal. Yes it's almost the same as Shamal. But it's way slow.
I might enlarge my tests, as i'm taking as sample, a 5 minutes flight for each plane.
But please look at this just as an overview to what you can earn. The only one that can really say the exact answer is Mick.
