Instead of /join [Player_Id]

Maybe there could be /startevent and /event [player_id]
The Colour of the leader could be purple and the rest violet (lighter I think)
This makes it easier so notice who is in the event or not..

I have suggested this because of the recent climb in the amount of events occurring.

Yeah. But i want to be a special kind of convoy. Eg

There is an Event starting in Flint County. Type /event [player_id] to join!

Its just more official since there have been a lot of events happening on the server lately.

Maybe players could even customize it to say the prize and name of the event. As well as banned list. Set player score. This makes it easier to keep track of the score limit. Eg Universal trucking has a score limit of 500. We dont really have time if its a mass event to check what score everyone has. If it was abused (spam restarting and stuff) player could be auto muted. Or you could only start an event once every 5 mins.

Just a nice addition to the server. Convoy means group of whatever to do an objective.

Seriously, how is this in any way different from the convoy system? It changes people's colors. Want the event to be announced? Pay your 10k like we all do to announce events.

Yes, but it isn't official. I want something new to separate truck / coach convoys from events..

If you do /startconvoy

it will say there is a convoy on in whatever or you may not be in the correct vehicle. So not many people will be able to see it.
You then get people saying /join blablablalla for event every 5 seconds which drives me nutty.

Just to get away from the fact that its an event not a convoy.
