How to do colors in welcome message?

I've been asking around and no one seems to know or remember how to do colors in your Welcome message. I would like to do it so that people can see my welcome message better. Please could someone help me. Thanks

color in welcome messages appearantly seem to be allowed, just not in chat.. if you do it, and its an accident, it might be ok, but if you do it on purpose, be ready to face the consequences.
