Scripting - How to count kilometers traveled by a player

Hi, I am creating a script for my map and I want to count how many kilometers that the player traveled even though the player changed many land vehicles the kilometer will just add up to the total kilometer traveled. Just like in my player/use stats here in convoy trucking where kilometers traveled are recorded.
