Hey,

Since my old laptop died after 6 years I have to look for a new one. Now I want a laptop which can run games like ETS2 easily on high for less than 500 euros.

Currently I've got a HP Pavillon 17 Notebook PC 17-f235nd. Is that laptop good enough to run games like ETS2 on high?

Do you guys have any suggestions? If so, gimme a link. ;)

Thanks!

Try to find something with higher than a 940m. I have a 940m in my laptop and I can run ATS on medium @ ~30fps.

No, maybe low. It has integrated graphics.

Pav is terrible for games, i can barely run ETS2 on lowest at 30fps. My friend had a lenovo with 4gb ram 3.4ghz i5 and 2gb integrated graphics that can run ETS2 on high at 30fps so maybe try that brand. I just have no idea what the price is

I've been looking around for some time and I guess I finally found one...
Acer Aspire E5-573G-3237;
15,6 inch (1366 x 768)
Intel Core i3-5005U
8GB
1 TB HDD
NVIDIA GeForce 920M

Or...

Own built-PC:
Sharkoon VG4-W (Red)
AMD FM2 A10-7850K Quad-Core 3.7GhZ
Cooler Master Hyper 103
Asus A68HM-K
Crucial Ballistix 8GB DDR-3-1600
AMD Radeon R7 250 2GB
1000GB HDD Sata III
DVD Player
SD plugin shizzle
Sound card
1Gbit network card
550 Watt Corsair
(Windows 8.1) (Cheaper than 10 lol)
= 535 euros

Ditch the FM2 cpu and get an AM3 socket cpu like an FX 4300 cause later if needed yoyou can upgrade to 6 or 8 cores

Could be. But apart from that this PC is good enough for some good gaming experience? I checked the gaming specs and it said I could easily run games like Fifa 16 and The Division on high.

You can drop the soundcard which won't make any difference from the built in one, and crack windows which is fairly easy, then use the money you saved on a better gpu or cpu. Also don't go with an apu even if the frequency looks tempting, take an AM3+ socket motherboard instead and get an FX 6300 or 6350.

Also that cpu cooler is not worth the money, get the 212 evo instead, costs slightly more but gives great performance.

also you may want to look at a 120GB SSD for OS and primary programs, then get a cheap 1-2 terabyte HDD for games.

$40 120GB SSD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820242257
$50 1 TB HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148840
