why is the right image in my forum sig not just fixing itself to the right of my left image? instead it's going down and in the corner

i am using left and right tags in my sig code

Because you had the .img. tags on a different line, so the picture goes to the enxt line. you use .right. so it aligns to the very right of your signature.
