Hello, it's time to decide, not getting it now but in max 3 months (4 if some problems occur).

So I have 2 choices.

Buying a new laptop and selling current one, or keeping current one and build a rig next to it.

Option 1:
Buy a new laptop, sell old.

My question would be could I play ETS2 and GTA IV on high or ultra on at least 60 fps on both?

Also:
The PC would be €165 euro less. Can anyone check if it will all fit together since that is the only thing I am afraid of.

I would suggest building your own PC since it is much cheaper and you can select all of the parts you want without the unnecessary shit prebuilt PCs come with. Also, you get much knowledge with computers from building, since you have alot of research to do with selecting the correct parts. It's alot of planning ahead but it's worth it in the end.

With the first choise you can run some games, by the way... why buy a laptop? Them all sucks, and you can't upgrade them.

I would choise build my own rig.

If you are able to get a phenom li then go ahead. They are no more manufactured.

The shop where I would buy it already has them on stock for more than months, I even e-mailed them last.

I don't wanna overclock, and 10-15 euro is no problem.

ner0

10-15 € is not problem, but also there is not huge difference between that two CPU's in ghz... and yes, all components are compatible :P

iFrost

965 is excellent.

I'm not going to comment on which one to get because I don't know if the laptop is good enough for your school stuff.

If you're not getting it now, you shouldn't look at it right now, as prices of technology change every month, sometimes every week, so come back in 3 months when you have the cash and I'll help you decide on a desktop/laptop

*I have plenty of experience with this kind of stuff, so trust me :P

TheSandman

If you dont pick the desktop, i will fly to NL and drag your ass back to AU to melt >:)

Pretty good build there. I'd prefer the nvidia Geforce GTX 650 Ti boost over that but apparently in the netherlands, the 650 is MUCH more expensive than the 7790. Here in the US, they're the same price but the 650 is better.

The case is nightmare to work with, had one of those. Theres not much possibilities to run excess cables behind the motherboard tray. Also the cooling is not that good on it due to PSU being on the top instead at bottom. After you fill it with hard drives you cant really do anything inside there due to lack of space.

So, thanks all.

I will pick another case, hax.

Also how could I make that build wifi-capable?
