just got my new macbook pro today and wanted to install samp. I'm currently downloading GTA san Andrea's from steam, which is the mac version.

can i get samp on mac so i can play cvt?

if i can please can you explain if i need any patches or things installed to make it work.

please dont suggest i install windows or something onto my mac, i know this already and its not something i can do due to my small storage drive.

Small storage? It takes like 10GB to install Windows XP. But trust me Samp sucks on Mac, ive tried endlessly to get it to work, it just doesnt.

256gb SSd which is also going to be used for photoshop and things for design and ict work at college..

I have windows 7 with a key, how can I install it without removing the Mac OS?

Go to Applications, Utilities, Bootcamp. If you want help you can Xfire/Steam me.

Ok i now have windows 7 installed..

I dragged all the GTA files over to the mac/windows laptop and ran samp, the application works and GTA works but, when i join a server samp boots GTA as normal and plays single player?

Any ideas?

Just the newest one, it should contain all the older files too.

ok its installed and all working now thanks!! but now i get the same issue i get on my main pc, when i click ESC i cant use any of the menus and when i go back in game i cant move the mouse? any idea how to fix this so i can fix it on both computers  :o

That's a problem I've had ever since I installed Gta sa on my laptop, it's just a bug, for the menus just highlight your selection with the mouse and press enter.  For the mouse not moving the camera, just alt+tab out of the game and then open it again and the mouse will move the camera again.
