tweak a mod for me plz (a tutorial would do too)

Hy, I have an M5 from matheus, I installed some repaint-able rims but probably due to the big amount of mods I use, the wheel textures are extremely dark and instead of a cherry red color, it looks more like a redish-black with no visible details. What I want is to either repaint the stock rims (but they also need some tweaking, I use this mod to replace the Infernus and the wheels are a bit too big and they sink into the ground) or add the wheel from the wheel pack and make it part of the car. Hopefully the texture won't be so dark.

If you have a tutorial on how to edit a mod (just the basics, modify the size of the wheels and change the ride height ) I would appreciate it.
