SAMI is so obsolete that it requires NET Framework 1.1 to run, even if you have much newer versions of it. The only solution i know of is to download NET Framework 1.1 and install it.

I don't know why would you want to use SAMI anyway, it is known that it can fuck up the game pretty badly.
My advice is that you download Alci IMG Editor, Spark or similar program for installing mods, cause they are simple and more reliable.

Jedi

Is it so bad? I would use it since I have no idea how to use other programs :-\

with spark, your basically dragging your mod files into and open img, so there couldnt be much mistakes made.
with GGMM, you have the car on as a preview, you select the dff and txd file you want to add and it your using it for SP (only way you can do this) you have lines to add custom handling, IDE, carcols, and carmods changes right there so you dont have to do it manually
I have never gotten aclis thing to work and IMG tool (IMO) is outdated but still works.

I use SAMI, no problems yet. :)

I have used SAMI until i learned how to use img editors, and in that time i have had only one serious problem. But many people say you should stay away from SAMI.

Using img editors is really simple and a very easy thing to learn. I'll take Spark as an example, since i am using it.

1) After you have started Spark, go to File>Open and find gta3.
2) Afer you have loaded gta3.img go to Actions>Import and find the .txd and .dff files of the mod you want to install, and open them.
3) All you need to do to finish the instalation now is to save the changes you made. Go to File>Save.

And you have installed a mod. :)

Use GGMM not fucking alci's, alci's and other img editors does only 1/2 of the job. I mean it only install mods, but to uninstall the mod, you must INSTALL back the original files.
