ive hardly started, i just got it disassembled so far. Going to sandblast and paint the engine this weekend.

Woah that's an amazing car Willy and AMC Jeep's were great great cars. Unfortunately Chrysler took them over(the worst brand in the world) and now they suck, but those Willy's are really good.

How does the engine run?

yeah willys were tough cars. The engine ran great, real smooth. I was getting oil in the coolant so I figured I had a head gasket leak...I did. Other than that it was a really reliable engine. Only thing im going to do to it: hone cylinders, lap valves, new piston rings and maybe pistons, and new seals all around.
