Basically we decided to put a turbocharger on the wrecker. No it does not work, it has a carb motor and some old shitty rubber tubing (and yes, PVC piping). We just did it for a bit of banter. I might post a video of it soon.

A few weeks after the accident we decided we were going to fix it with whatever we could find, this is the result

steal 2 wheels off a Toyota Hilux (to fit the rear axle)
replace fuel tank
weld struts to the bottom of the car - the roof is off which decreases rigidity, turns it into a bendy bus basically
remove rear seats to fit new fuel tank

It would be neat if new players knew they could earn interest without having to ask or be told. Like one of those blue info lines that display every ~2 minutes. "Put your money in the bank to earn interest. 0.8% default, 1% with Armour van achievement" or something similar

exhaut brake sound doesnt work anymore after 1.22 update, how2fix pls

so i have a weird problem,

got this aluminium fan, it's pretty big and goes really fast. but it also squeaks at random times and the only way to stop it is if i hit it on the cover, but then 10 minutes later it just does it again.

i've tried q20'ing the thing but that hasnt helped at all, i went and tightened every thing that was loose-ish up very tight, still squeaks.

I just wanted to post a topic explaining a few things that I would consider disrespectful and unacceptable. It seems to be slipping out of people's memory nowadays.


1. The word 'nigger'
'Nigger' or is not just a word for black people, it's something meant to be offensive toward them. There is no other meaning. Want to know who finds it offensive? I do. If you're gonna use it, do it in a CB where everyone can't see it

2. Shots at family, parents, S/O's etc
This can be a sensitive subject and it's best not to go there or even think about going there. You can ruin someone's entire day by saying one stupid thing about their real life.

3. Talking about disturbing things like rape, torture etc
You don't know everything about the people who play CT. One of them could have had an experience with something horrible and a bad joke could end up as something much worse - think worst case scenario: overdose, suicide, self-harm. Some people actually do that, don't be the one to make them do it. If you want to talk about something like that, CB.

4. Your sex life
No one cares about your sex life(with the possible exception of your mates). For other people to read about how you did some nasty shit with a 40 year old biology teacher - even if it is a lie - is just disgusting. Again. CB

5. Other people's sex/love life
Don't ask other people about their sex/love life. That's private and sensitive stuff and has nothing to do with you.

6. Expressing your opinions
Everyone is allowed to express their own opinion, but if you definitely know that expressing yours is going to piss people off, don't do it. And if you see that it pissed people off, don't go on about it and provoke them.

7. Being drunk or high
Coming on the server drunk is a disgrace and should make you feel ashamed of yourself. Why would you want people to see that side of you? Coming on high is almost acceptable because only some people can be quite funny, but don't go on about "I'm so high wow high high high drugs drugs I'm high and better than everyone else drugs drugs"... It's disgusting. Join  CB with your mates and avoid letting everyone know you're intoxicated.

8. Other people's appearance etc
Don't comment on other people's appearance or disabilities or anything that could upset them because that's just sub-human.

9. Bad jokes
If someone asks you to stop making jokes about something then you should actually stop and not take it as a challenge.

10. Other people's opinions
Don't shoot someone down when they express their opinion. If it offends you then just say so. Also don't talk down to someone about how their choices are uncool and shit compared to yours.

11. Sexuality
Don't make fun of someone if they are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual... You get the point.

12. Illnesses/disabilities
Don't take shots at someone for having a certain illness or disability. IT can ruin their day, week, year or even life if it keeps happening.


This is not aimed at anyone in particular, I just thought I'd share with you what I think is unacceptable behaviour.

It'd be nice if we could assign number ID's to our cars. It would make restoring specific cars easier if you had more than one of them. It would also be easier to remember instead of having to check /mycars every time because they change when you buy new cars

I can't take any screenshots or videos of my ETS2 gameplay. It just shows the desktop in the pictures or the videos, but I still have sound. Using fraps, what else can I use for screenshots and videos? (I know I can use photo mode for screenshots but that's kind of slow on my laptop)

None of my wireless controllers can connect to the console and I've already googled the problem and tried all the methods Microsoft's support says to try... It didn't work.

I didn't do anything to the Xbox or the controllers since the last time I turned them off, today when I wanted to play it simply wouldn't connect. The lights just keep flashing as if it's searching for a connection

Anyone got any ideas?

Paste the system requirements of any game and someone has to guess what game it is;

Example: CPU: Intel Pentium IV 2.4GHz (or greater)

Then the next person answers: "Call of Duty 1," then they put a game of their choice's requirements in and the next guy guesses, well here we go then:

NVIDIA GeForce2 or greater

The "new skybox" in 1.18+ causes terrible FPS lag, and the graphics don't even look as good as I would expect from a game that lags as much as this does on LOW graphics...

Is there some black magic at work here? This is just appalling.

Does anyone know how I can fix it or how I can downgrade the steam version back to 1.17(or at least lose the shitty skybox)? Thanks

I recently got Sniper Elite 3 and was like "omg wow it runs on my pc" then I was shattered when I found out the game is known to crash randomly whenever it goes into bullet cam and also after you shoot someone in a vital spot (i.e when it says "heart shot: xx points") and last but not least, the most irritating one of them all: right before the bullet hits the guy when using bullet cam.

I've found topics on the net of people having the same problem(yes, piracy haters, even people who bought the game have this problem) but none of the ones I found have anything about how to fix it. Only a bunch of people saying "I have the same problem please fix it" etc etc.

Would anyone here happen to know how to deal with this?

And when I try opening GTA SA single player it speeds up the DVD and shows the disc icon on the cursor but then nothing, like it legit does nothing - doesn't even open the process in taskmgr...

I recently had a problem with my laptop's hard drive (and now I have a 1TB, yay) and I had to reinstall Windows 8 on a new one, I was wondering what you guys would recommend me to do: update to 8.1, or just keep it as on 8.0? I'm honestly not having any problems with 8.0 like I used to have (thanks dobby for helping me with that shit) and I am using less RAM now that all the extra useless shit is off.

What would be the benefits(if any) of updating to 8.1?

Is there any way to get more trailers into the game instead of replacing old trailers? I'd like to have a huge variety to choose from. Like a 125 ton mod I found that was great and all, but it replaces every single trailer in the game, unless I enabled a tandem trailer mod, but then there would still only be the tandem + the 125 ton... so ye, can I somehow have extra trailers/cargo + the original at the same time?
