Hey guys, if anyone has time to play the fleeca heist with me to unlock the Kuruma it would be much appreciated. I usually end up in a public session by myself for hours so we wouldn't be bothered much I don't think.

I haven't had much time to play and was going to eventually do something with my club, Roadrunners, but it has not happened. Instead I am going to give the club away to who ever wishes to put it to good use. There is currently 127 members, no base, $11,000,000+. Join club or visit website in order to view more details.

I am just going to throw this out there and maybe we can build something of it, or not lol

Adding the streetsweeper to missions.

How it might work:

• Enable sweeper mission, say, from "LV Airport to Linden Side"
• There would be a series of red dots, like the way Tanker missions run. For instance, in the above mission you would have 6 areas to reach, random order.
• Drive to and into each red dot, continue on until the last one

The payment system, I don't know, depends how long the mission is and how many dots you get (maybe 5-10). Each dot could pay perhaps $500-$750 each, just throwing a number out there.

Because the sweeper moves incredible slow the missions would need to be pretty short I think, cause you probably don't want to sweep from LV to WC lol. Of course people will be taking short cuts, but that's a givien with pretty much every mission available. Any thoughts?

What if we could see what vehicles a club owns on the website, perhaps under Club Members or one of the log links? I know you can go into the server and see the vehicles under the club menu but still, it would be nice to know "Oh, they do have that vehicle for use" instead of looking in game all the time to see which clubs have what available. It would also save time looking through the club logs to see what's been bought and sold and then getting confused lol. It might also make the club website look more sophisticated, no?

I'm going to host, what I think, is the first ever carshow that shows off your Mods! I don't know if this has been done or tried before but if it has, then it's not the first lol.

Please read and follow instructions carefully or you will be disqualified. If you are unsure, don't hesitate to ask. And keep checking this topic as things might change.

Here's how it works. There will be 3 carshows at 3 different times to try and accommodate everyone. If you can't make it, have your friend log in and bring your car, if they can and it's available.

Everyone gets 1 week to choose 1 car they want to show off, however, to make this work each car needs to be different from the rest. That means first come first served. If someone chooses Infernus, then that car is taken, choose another. Get the idea? Good!

You will reply to this topic with the car of your choice, then the next person and so on. If someone has replied with a car you wanted then you're out of luck, you will have to choose a different one or use it on a different vehicle.

When you reply with your car model (example "I choose the Burrito"), you will PM me with the mod you want to use. You don't have to show anyone your mod either.

Voting!
Everyone that makes it to the carshow and is a valid entry will be displayed in the forum and on the san news website. There will be a photo book showing each entry (person and vehicle). Everyone will have 1 week to vote on the winners. You will get 3 votes, 1 for each place (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) Then the next day winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded.

**If there are more than 20 entries, there will be more votes and prizes. For each additional 5 entries will be another spot, like 4th place and so on. This will come as entries are submitted.

Very important!! - Make sure your mod works! I can't stress this enough. I don't want to be in OPcode hell and have the game crash on me. If this happens I may not host another one of these. I want this to work, and I will make it worth your time as well for the winners.

There will two weeks to prepare, which means you will get 2 chances to enter 2 cars should you wish. Week one will start today, then week two next week and then the car show the week after. I know, this will be a very long time to wait for a carshow, but can you blame it, you will see some sweet mods!!

Vehicles banned from carshow:

• Trucks (Linerunner, Roadtrain, Petrol, Big Dumper)
• Trailers (Tanker, any Artic, Dumper)
• Planes
• Stairs. Yeah, you heard me, stairs!
• Helicopters
• Boats (like how you gonna get a boat there anyways?)

Entry Fee!
There is no entry fee, it is free for everyone!

I may need another helper or two. This will be a paid position (Check back here for pay later).
Here's what my helper(s) need to do:

• Download and install all mods chosen. I will give you the mods
• Test and make sure each mod works if you can. If you can't, let me know and maybe we can divide testing of the mods though if everyone follows the rules we shouldn't have to test at all, but you know lol
• Be able to attend one of the events at least
• Be able to take pics and/or record video
• Help keep contestants organized during event. I will give you instructions as to what needs to be done should something happen or you are unsure
• Take my place. I may not be able to attend the event(s) but I will try my hardest for sure to keep those times open. It's pretty straight forward and I will tell you in pm here if you want to apply

Before we could see which club owned which base on the map on the website but now it's just the "BS" icon all over. It would be nice to have the feature back where we could see which club owned which base and the prices of the bases that are not owned.

I decided to start making instructional videos for CT. I know there are already tutorials on this but I figure if I place tutorials on youtube it will help promote the server as well.

Re-done changed aspect

I was wondering if adding Actors (Like NPC but don't take slots) to construction sites would be something neat added to the server. What these guys would do would just be holding signs for roadworks or if they could actually be working at the site.

They shouldn't be in vehicles or really moving around much as to not cause accidents but could just be sitting in machinery or working on something like scaffolding. From what I read that you can apply animations to the actors as well which could show them at least somewhat moving lol.

Also if you kill an Actor you could become wanted or fined even.

I don't really know how Actos work or if it's even possible to do it without causing game issues but would be cool to drive by a new roadwork and actually seeing dudes working on it lol

I've been using CamHack for a bit now to get some good aerial shots of the game but the smoothness of the camera sucks lol I don't know if you guys have heard of "Smooth Camera" or not and whether or not it's legal in the gamemode.

I want to make some videos with the camera but CamHack doesn't allow you to go slow enough to take smooth video. If it is legal to use in ct then I will need to get cleo apparently. I also don't know if installing cleo will cause my game to enable hacks which I don't want, or does it just contain the files to install certain features.

Maybe this was suggested and denied for some reason but it would be very helpful for founders that bought a base and want to upgrade to a new one but would lose all the money they put into their current base.

It would be nice to have at least half that money come back to the club for it to go towards a new base if it likes. This is similar to everything else you sell in CT, why not have it for bases?

This weekend will be host to a bicycle/dinghy race in which there can only be one winner. The start of the race will be inside the CTEA base and contestants will use their bikes and/or dinghy to make it to the top of Mt.Chiliad where they will host a party with free drinks.

Ever wanted to know what makes Mick... tick? Felt the urge to ask him a question but punked out cause you thought you would either get ignored, a warn or even worse, a ban? Well, you're not alone folks.

Here at San News we'll go beyond the call of duty and try to get this done for you guys. We all have at least once question we'd like to know about the guy who made this whole place happen. Let's see if we can find out a little more about our fearless leader.

Here's how it'll work. Everyone that wants to ask him something can do so by replying here. We'll gather up the questions, eliminating any that are deemed inappropriate or stupid (there are no stupid questions only stupid people) lol and we'll make a poll on the San News website to which questions are most popular as there will be some that may go unanswered.

After that we'll take those winning questions and send them to Mick. Now whether or not he will answer them we can't say for sure as we all know he's a busy man. What actually was happening:
I logged into the server and was almost immediatly teleported to Blueberry where I fell through the ground in one of those porshe type vehicles, then I ended up in a rustler so thinking one of the mods was playing a joke on me I drove it around until they asked me where I got it from. I said I don't know, jumped out then was teleported again and this time smokey wasn't happy.

Hey guys, looking for camhack which won't get me banned lol I used to have one but the ones I dl just hang and crash. Maybe I installed it wrong or wrong folder I dunno. If anyone uses one or knows where a working dl-able one is would be appreciated. This will also help with SA News coverage too so I can get better media for you guys, cheers!

I don't know if this was ever suggested, but I was wondering if there was a way to add the average distance between load point and unload point. When you hit work you see all the jobs but unsure which ones are longer and which are shorter for those that want more money to those that want shorter trips. Also adjusts between Miles and Kilometers.

Ex: Deliver supplies from point A to point B (AvgDist 5.8km)

Maybe there's a mod for it but I'm not good with modding my game, opcode hell haha.

People like events, I know I do but it's hard to do an event when people don't go to the forum to check how the event works. Racing events, which I think people love to do, are an event I would like to be able to create better without having to disturb other people trucking.

Making available the ability to join another world, where people aren't trucking, is a way to achieve this along with a race building filter added to create race events. People can make their own custom race events, which would be nice when people get bored of trucking.

Example of how it would work:

• Player creates event using a cmd, like /createevent
• Player chooses world, World 0 being CT main world, World 1 and up being other available worlds
• Player chooses starting position, checkpoints and end position
• Once complete, player types /startevent and players joining event would be teleported to event world and await /countdown for race to begin

Basically just a rough sketch, but you see where I'm coming from. CT needs a little more options like this I believe which can give clubs and people creating events some form of control. I'm not saying take a filterscript as our own, Mick doesn't do that, but use one or more as a reference point perhaps.

Am wondering, is there anyway to cancel selling your vehicle if you want it back? I don't think it would be considered scamming because if you put your vehicle up for sale, but decide you want it back (if it's already sold then too bad), but if it's still on the lot and you change your mind can you have the option to "remove vehicle from lot" Hopefully not at a fee but it might make sense to charge a fee for realism.

Also, the ability to sell club vehicles would be cool to be added as well but only the person that bought the vehicle can sell it.
