You could either use a virtual machine, or use bootcamp and make a small windows 7/10 image for just samp, wont need a lot of space. RUns a lot nicer bootcamp does, because its not running osx at same time.

Thats quite expensive for something that could be done using a desktop computer with sata connections, use a desktop computer with a little free space or find someone with available sata slots on his desktop computer and you will save 26$ i guess, then do an image backup of the hard drive, Macrium Reflect is a good tool for that, then I guess you could wipe the disk and try to reinstall windows on the laptop with no worries since you'll have a backup of your files. If that doesn't help i guess other parts of the laptop are damaged but at least you'll have your data saved.

It is expensive but the cost could outweigh the repairs if TG makes a mistake (i know itll be hard to make one) i only based it off the fact he knows nothing about building/pc components. I too wouldve just thrown it in using sata but i went with someone relatively simple.

Best way would be take the hard drive out of it, and plug it into another computer using a caddy to back it up elsewhere. Then put the hdd back into the laptop and reset/recover windows as normal.

The mod you download has to be compatible with the game version you have.
Whether you rollback your game version, or download an updated version of the mod if the author has created one.
