Hey guys,

It has been brought to my attention that the roadblocks around the map have been there for quite a while now - I am specifically talking about the one near Blueberry and the one North-west of Las Venturas, towards the road to Milestone County.

It would be great if we could have them removed from the map and potentially see new ones being implemented.

I am also curious to hear everyone else's opinion on the following matter.

What actually was happening:
I spent the entire day, trying to get the Criminal Mastermind achievement, and after I nearly managed to get it, I got banned due to bug exploiting. As an ex-staff member, I am more than aware not to abuse any bugs that could potentially be found, and rather report them on the forums. I do deem that the following was false ban, as nor me, or shen, did anything wrong. The achievement is allowed to be farmed, thus we weren't doing anything against the stated rules.

So I did this, because I was bored, yes, BORED, I wanted to see if I was able to play around with the page source.

So an idea came up in my mind while I was at school, doing nothing as usual.

What if a new class is added? Warehouse workers. Loading trucks, moving piles of crates, unloading and those sort of stuff. It'd be mainly done with forklift since it's the only one that fits the job. And eventually, if this has great feedback, it will probably lead to another achievement as well. And NO, you won't have to go around the whole map with a forklift, it'd be on specified locations/zones.

What the title says. Getting muted for flooding attempt and no mods/admins on while could be quite nasty sometimes. I guess getting un-muted after around 1-2 minutes would be nice, than to relog.

Has anyone got better than the default ones? I am pretty bored of them so I want to swap them up a bit. Have you got any suggestions? 

So, a simple roadblock. Just to begin with this, I blocked off the road from the South part with barriers, just so it won't be abused that much, like it wouldn't be in real life. A train crash between 2 trains, whose trains ripped a part. There are also some dead bodies around since some of them were carrying illegal stuff. I hope you like it. 

Another big convoy. Began with Carl as Leader, went through me and in the moment Dominic is leading it. CT had 43 players, the convoy reached 31 at its peek. I'll add each pic since imgur BB is broken.

Here's my idea. At the end of the year, to have a topic at the forums, where people can vote for someone to receive a following award, such as trucker of the year, no-lifer of the year, most helpful, etc. I thought it'd be quite nice and I will make sure to organise everything properly. There will be separate votes for players and admins, yet, they will be on one reply. I thought I'd be funny and interesting to see who for whom will vote. If enough people vote yes, I'll create the topic some time in December, the time to vote will be decided in the meanwhile.

He still keeps on advertising his club to newbies that come into the server. Let's look at the last 2 members that joined his club: "Epicnewbie" and "Mike_Cears".



You can clearly see the date when both of the players joined his club. That doesn't prove anything, does it?



On this picture you can see Epicnewbie's stats. He has been online for only 55 minutes and somehow, out of all the clubs, he joined DeadWalker's.



Same case with Mike_Cears. A bit more active, but he as well decided somehow to join his club. I'd like to ask an admin to check the chatlogs just as an extra proof for what he has done. But it is more than obvious he does it, when there aren't any admins/moderators online.

Finally, after mapping more than 12 hours of total, might be more, I am not sure, I finally finished the island, but nevertheless, I still have to finish the truck stop that will be on it. [Should be done tomorrow, or by the end of the week. Most probably tomorrow.]

First of all, I want to thank CarlJohnson for motivating me to do this and acomplishing it faster than I ever expected, this is by far one of the hardest things I've ever mapped, especially choosing the buildings on the island itself. Even tho North County still isn't FULLY finished yet, I wanted to share this with you, because this is what I always wanted to do, create (kind-of) a big map for CT, I'll upload pictures to see how it looks like, and you'll probably notice, on the picture at the top, that the road on the right is cutted - THAT is where the Truck Stop is going to be.

The island contains quite a lot of destinations to load/unload. I've even made a small Fuel Station, which somehow might be used for Petrol Missions. The island is decently sized, not too big, not too small, there's a fuel station in it, as well as on the way to it. The entrance to the island is located in North-North-East Las Venturas. I've added a few speed-bumpers, which could flip your vehicle if you're going fast enough. There are houses on it as well. I hope you'll like it, and once again, thank you, CJ, and of course, the work of the mappers in CT, that motivated me as well.

Here comes the end of the beautiful 2015....

Every each one of you went through something, either good or bad. But now it's time to leave that in the past, and look forward to a better 2016 year.

I thought about doing the last convoy in 2015, but CVTM already took care of that.

So, on 1-st of January, we are starting the new Convoy Season!

We will be making only long hauls, but the convoy will be only ARTIC. You can use whichever truck you want (Roadtrain is preferable).

The meeting location will be LVA ( Las Venturas Airport).

Here is the suggestion I've got for ya.

I think that the clubs should be swapped with Companies.

----------------------------------------------------------------

1. What is the point of the clubs ? I just find it to use each other trucks, and pay around 2m per month for a base.

1a. If there are companies, there would be company trucks, that the owner of the company will be able to buy for a little bit less than the price of the RT (Roadtrain), or more. And those trucks would respawn after they are un-used for a few mins, so nobody will have to worry about getting it back to the base.

2. This is other suggestion that inflicts with this one too. How about we increase the price of the hauls ? Because I don't think that earning around 4-20-30 k is enough per haul.
Now, here is the 2-nd thing that would be great about having companies. Payrate.
Yup, payrate that can be changed from 20 % to 85 %. You might earn 20 % for you, and other 80 % for the company, BUT. There would also be weekly earnings at the end of the week. You will get 30 % of the money you've made for the company. So you would be also happy, and the company too. You'll make profit, the company too. The company staff would be able to change the payrate, but the less you change it, the better for the players.

3. I also think about that it would be great if there are less, less clubs that are transformed into companies. I suggest that those clubs that have bases to be left, and those that don't to be removed and the money to be returned to the owner of the club ( might split them with the staff).

4. Re-placing the parking spots. Let's take, for example, CONVOYTRUCKING MATES, Let's have a look at their base.

The trucks, parked in the middle, can be moved to the parking on the left of the picture. And the hangars to be filled with company trucks and trailers.

5. In my opinion, it would also be nice to be Company Convoy Events.

6. The capacity of every company will be different. The more you pay for it, the more free places for members to join. Let's say that the small bases would have a capacity of around 30 players. And if the base is bigger, 40, 50 and so on.

I've suggest this, because I mostly didn't find any points in club and I think players would enjoy playing in the server more if there are companies (In my opinion).
