Hello admins,

I always loved to truck on CT but recently have been busy in school. Now I have a bit of time off and would like to play some CT again, and I can't even log in! Could my account be re-enabled please? I get the message "Login denied: Account disabled." When logging in.

Thanks!

Hey all!

I will be having a house party tomorrow, May 30, at (9AM Eastern US Time, GMT-5) or 2pm GMT.
It'll happen at my house, /gpshouse 1204 on Eyre Island in Wet County.

I'll be buying beer, wine, and cigarettes to give out to all who attend!
So come, bring your cars, bikes, whatever else you want and we will have a great time!!

Everyone is welcome :D

Hope to see you all there!

What would it be like if the major highways in CT were numbered? I think it would make the map more interesting to drive.

This is not a suggestion, just a "what if" scenario. I edited the map from the website to include some Route numbers on major highways. Let me know what you think about this!

The numbers I chose come from the way numbering is done with US interstates, East-West roads have even numbers while North-South roads have odd numbers. Loop routes are 3-digits that begin with an even number.

Route 1 - Goes from the Foster Valley area north, through an interchange with Route 2, through San Fierro, over the Garver Bridge and ends at an interchange with Route 6.
Route 2 - Begins at an interchange with Route 1 in southern San Fierro and goes south along the coast, past the Sandus Keys bridge, then turns east and follows the coast through Whetstone and Flint County, eventually crossing a river and going through a tunnel to end up in western Los Santos.
Route 3 - "Milestone County Expressway" Begins in Valle Ocultado and heads north through Milestone County and ends at an interchange with Route 8.
Route 4 - A short highway, it begins at an interchange with Route 5 in downtown Los Santos, heads east through Idlewood and Ganton and ends in East Beach.
Route 5 - "Harry Gold Parkway" Begins just north of Los Santos International Airport, heads into downtown Los Santos, crosses an interchange with Route 4, then continues north through Red County, over the bridge into Las Venturas, crosses Route 206, continues through the city and ends at another interchange with 206 near Prickle Pine.
Route 6 - Starts at the toll plaza for Gant Bridge in western San Fierro. It continues over the bridge, past Bayside then turns east. It continues southeast through Tierra Robada, through an interhchange with Route 1, then goes through Bone County and eventually ends at an interchange with Route 206 in southwestern Las Venturas.
Route 7 - Begins in East Beach and continues north through Las Colinas and into Red County. It passes Palomino Creek and turns west and ends at an interchange with Route 5.
Route 8 - Not pictured on the map. This begins in Dutchmen Keys and heads east, crossing an interchange with Route 3, then ends near the Milestone County Airport and industrial parks.
Route 9 - "Wet County Expressway" Begins on Low Land Island and goes north through Fir Island. It ends in Happyland.
Route 206 - "Julius Thruway" Makes a loop around the city of Las Venturas. There are interchanges with Routes 5 and 6.

That's all! Feel free to edit or critique the map.

Road maps are one of my favorite things so that's why I had the idea to do this.

Hey truckers! This topic is something that has been in the back of my mind for a while but I never really got around to writing about it.

Before I begin, if you don't know, Garver Bridge is the bridge connecting southern Tierra Robada and Downtown San Fierro.

Now i've been on the server for awhile and this has been a problem as long as I can remember. Every time a player drives over the bridge in a vehicle which has a top speed greater than about 95kph, their speed is reduced to around 95kph. Therefore, it's not really an issue if you're driving a Petrol or a Trashmaster, but for a Road Train it certainly is an inconvenience.

I could understand the reason this is happening if the bridge had some type of major incline, but the fact is the surface is almost completely flat. There is no reason the vehicle driving over the bridge should be slowed down. The Wet County Expressway bridge (near Happyland) is the exact same bridge copy and pasted but when you drive over that one your speed is not affected. In addition, it should be mentioned that the same problem occurs on the strip in Las Venturas, a road that is even flatter than the Garver Bridge.

I believe while this is not an urgent matter, it should be looked into. In my opinion there is absolutely no reason this should be happening. I'd like to see it fixed.

That about sums up my rant, what do others think about this?

Ban Appeals / CeDricK_[PH] ban appeal

Ban was unfair? Yes
I was banned by: Smokey (anti-cheat)

What actually was happening:
Hello. If any of yall have been playing long enough you probably know me, Bocephus is my name in-game. I wasn't banned, but my friend CeDricK_[PH] was. He says he can't login to the forum so I am writing his ban appeal for him. I think i'm a credible guy, i've been around for a long time and never been warned.

CeDricK_[PH] (in his own words) remarks about the event:

"when im going to use my truck.. and i get in when i start the truck the truck go up so high and just 5 seconds smokey banned me. my friend FrozenStarsID also got banned. he got banned for the same reason."

It seems clear that Smokey has banned both Cedrick and FrozenStars unfairly. I cannot speak for FrozenStarsID but I know that what Cedrick has told me is the truth. It would be unfair to let the ban remain in effect because he did absolutely nothing wrong. Please consider this in your decision to unban him.

Attached, I have uploaded two pictures. The first of what it looks like when Cedrick attempts to login to the forum, the second of his ban information.

Thanks again.

General Talk / Happy Convoy Day!
June 06, 2013, 16:51
In C.W. McCall's song "Convoy" (from a classic trucking movie) the day June 6th is mentioned.

This is the basis of the holiday "convoy day"

Today is the 6th of June, I encourage everyone to convoy as much as possible today!

Happy convoy day!

My suggestion is for pilots to have the ability to use the command /dst the same way truckers do. The reason i'm suggesting this is because when I am flying somewhere over a big body of water, such as Wet County to Las Venturas Island, it would be nice to know how far away the airport is, since I wouldn't be able to tell by the scenery around me. This is just a minor suggestion, I don't think it would take very long to script, and it would make pilots' jobs just a little bit easier. Please tell me what you think about this idea :D

My Dad has a 1995 Volvo 850 Wagon and I thought it would be cool to find a mod for it. This is my first mod, and I love the feeling of having it work for the first time! I took some pictures of it, it's really realistic! You can compare the mod vs. the real car  :D
Enjoy!
