My samp keeps freezing ingame randomly, it becomes really annoying. Does anyone knows a simple solution to this? i had it in the past too , and something simple fixed it, but i forgot xD

Sjomp brought it to my attention that due to a server update all club options have been changed automaticly.
This means that everything has been set to 'no'' and ''disabled''. Now unless you have a base, this might not be so important right now. But if you do, please take notice of this and set things back to your prefered situation before things go wrong:)


Basically please take a look at your club's settings and change things where needed because everything was set to default which is negative.
Share this with your friends etc etc.

When you want to rename your club or change the founder, and your club does have a base, its way to expensive. It makes no sense at all, why a club should pay the club base costs to rename things. I suggest the same fee for it, whether you have a base or not.
For example, to change founder for 20mil? how does that make sense.


Please update it, its just way to expensive and makes no sense.

First of all, i have tried everything that i can come up with to fix my gta sa problems.


Lets me explain some things, I have a laptop and a pc thinghy which i play on, the pc does play gta sa, but it randomly crashes everytime. so well i guess thats ok for now, but i want my laptop to play gta sa properly because i just enjoy it more and its better:P


My laptop did play gta sa for lets say 1 day last week and then it boom, got corrupted again.


I have tried reinstalling samp and gta sa, i have redownloaded cracks etc , fresh torrents   and it just doesnt work.

[IMPORTANT:]

As of today, you can search for presents again. Presents will be randomly dropped by Santa all over the map. When you find a present, it will indicate how much presents there are left to find. Every now and then, Santa will drop some presents, thus always watch the chat for some hints:).


Presents will be rotating and you will be able to walk through them, presents that do not have this function, are christmas decorations:)
Presents will not spawn on mapped islands and inside buildings.


You can collect as many as you want, but they will despawn once someone collected it, this means each present is unique and working together doesnt pay off:)
all locations are randomly picked, so its pointless to go to a location where previously a present was spawned:)
Also unlike last year, there will no snow be falling around them:)


Each present has an unique reward. Some may give alot, some nothing:) Be the lucky one


Collect as many as you can, and who knows what there might in be it for you

IMPORTANT: You can't search for presents while you are THIEF or POLICE officer. Please RECLASS to any other class if you are going to hunt presents.

Also the christmas decorations where added to the server, it are the decorations from last year but editted here and there. Also MC and WC do now have decorations. Also NikoX made an monster truck race track near Verdant Meadows:), Matt made an working elevator in Ls, which most likely will have added decorations asap, the building with the elevator has a music stream
Furthermore, unique things like mt chiliad or the party boat are brought back this year. Have alot of fun driving on the roads while its Christmas time:)

enough of all the drama and the bullshit xD its time to life up to the most special time of the year again at CT. Christmas time:)
Every year its special and i think the xmas decorations help alot to contribute to that fact,


And let that now be the subject of this topic, the decorations. For those who play longer here, you will know that there are two types of Christmas decorations  for CT. One made by Ericstroch ~2010/11?  And one made last year by me and Ethan.


I think we will use this version of last year again, however i think there is always place for suggestions and feedback, things you might have not liked from last years version.


Therefore i am asking you guys the following


- Which version should we go for
- Suggestions and feedback
- And we need special event locations for special projects, think of the SF party ship and the MT chiliad Christmas transformation which is still in the server btw

First of all, you all should know, this party was to honour brane being staff member for 1 year.
Thats why brane held a party.


In about 10 minutes we have about 15 players there out of the 41 online, i think thats a decent turnout:P


Minutes after having lol, sjomp playing the whore of the party and many other shit:) more and more players came by:)


Alot of rookie players and wannabes got to this party too, and i think they got a good impression of CT:)

I noticed my sound didnt got recorded which sucks pretty much. I hope other players have alot of vids, i know fox has:)

Yesterday afternoon, i got confronted by 3 CT players, that its cool and all that we add new maps/islands, but that the main GTA SA map is boring as fuck. Small changes could be made to improve the looks of it, or atleast give it a  new look after X years of playing.
I think its not a bad idea.


I made an example for you guys.


This is Red County, before it had no trees ( well 3 xD ) and now a little more. To my opinion such sort of changes/add ons would make the default GTA SA map more interesting.

Lately i started playing world of tanks which is a quite fun game if i may say so:)
I play it at weekends when i never play CT because then its my family time and to chill with my brother and friends:)

There are several servers and i do play on the EU server, so that means players from the USA cannot play with dudes from the EU server or the SEA server that is for russia i believe, not sure.


Anyway, i found out Sveki and some old CT players do play this game also and it would be fun if i could meet up with some of u ingame some day offcourse:)


So if you do play WOT and you are fromt he EU side of it, please comment and i will check ur stats and perhaps platoon up:)

Due to all the recent trolls and hate, we need to have some sort of clarification.

   
• It cannot be blocking when a player is on the sidewalk. BUT, it cannot be a sidewalk directed to an unload/load/ truck depot etc. See rule 6 of the road rules.
• Rules were written for road usage. Meaning that when there is no road, it is not blocking either. But blocking ACCESS points as in (hunter quarry) that have off road accesses is not allowed
• Ramming a player that stands on the sidewalk, is still intentional ramming.
• divebombing the persons will still be punishable by ban.

whether you like it or not, as STAFF we need to follow rules and guidelines, where would a server be if there would be a staff team that does what they feel like.
I cannot imagine this will happen daily, as it just happened twice to make a statement. I and other admins udnerstand that the feeling you have in this situation could be desribed as, unfair, lame, fucked up etc. But we cannot change rules or situations where rules are in the favour of this player.


As player, i understand everyone of you, but as admin and moderators, we cannot go and make our own rules.

so i think its kinda with camping cops at unloads, dont like it, dont do it: dont like the fact shortcuts are blocked off, use the road, but in no situation ram or divebomb.
all situations apply when player is ON the sidewalk.


But to share yoru grief, lets say, player MUST BE AFK or shortly idle on the sidewalk, intentionally fucking up the fun of others by blocking them for minutes can be seen as punisheable.

for the past 2 weeks, my laptop has had some troubles, i had 2 bluescreens xD and it is very slow.
For example, starting up SAMP takes 1 minute, connecting to the game takes 2 minutes.
Opening a new tabpage on the webbrowser takes 1 minute.
etc etc i think all of you kinda know where i am going with this.
I think my laptop is infected with a virus.


What i need from you guys si the best virusscan that there is and a program that can clean your pc really good.
In the past i used HitmanPro but i need to pay for it will it remove the results it found..
My antivirus is Avast, before this i used AVG and then i had no trouble, except i had some firewall settings fucked up and it wouldnt let me visit ct and other things so i took Avast.

As it is now, when your club has a base, you must pay the club base price in order to transfer the club over to another player or to change the name. When your club has no base, the price of this is just $1.000.000 which is ok to my opinion, but when your club has a base, it is waaaay to expensive.


My suggestion is, make it $1.000.000 for every situation, with base or without. Because as someone said, this  is just a rip off, it is like Ethan said, you basicly ''re-buy'' the base which makes no sense...

I think pretty much every day when i am online, i see someone asking: '' Where to find a securicar?''


Well as we all know, they are next to the banks., My suggestion is, wouldn't make more sense when those , or some securicars would be replaced/placed at the truck depots, where the wannabes and rookies spawn in the first place.


For us experienced players its easy to say where they are, but very often rookies then dont have a clue what your talking about.


As i said, small simple suggestion:)

[Staff Selection process:]

Alot of players asked me what the requirements to become staff on this server are.
Thats why i decided to make a topic.


Staff Selection process:


Admins select new staff members, based on criteria/thresholds. When players meet these requirements they will be put on a list with names of possible moderator candidates. Each list will contain info about you as player (stats etc) and opinions from the Admins about a certain player.


Every admin has to be in favor for promoting that specific player. If a player has some warns, they have to be approved by mick to.


Staff requirements: ( *** = High priority  ** = medium priority  *=  low priority)

   
• **Player must have been playing on this server for 6 months or longer, this so that only applications will be posted from players that are familiar with all the rules, and have a decent amount of game experience and knowledge about how things work ingame.
• ***Clean profile: If you have been warned to much or banned to much in your CT career, you cannot become a moderator. How can we expect you to be an example, if you cant follow rules in the first place. Note: We admins do take into consideration what for warns you have, and we understand that not all warns might have been fair always due to gamemode changes/ different view on punishing players.
• *Decent score: Score does not mean much to my opinion, but having a staff member with 500 score makes things complicated. I think everything above 1500 score is decent enough to apply for moderator.
• ***Known for good behaviour/helping attitude: It helps alot, if you are a known player that helps players with questions or with anything you can help them out. If we see you are capable of solving arguements without commands, you are probably great moderator potential.
• ***Timezone/Location: Your timezone/ location is a factor that is important enough to make certain decisions as in yes or no:D, for example, the majority of this server comes from Europa, that is why unless that changes, more staff from Europe will be needed, than staff for USA or other nations.
• *Languages you can speak: It is helpfull if you speak more than one language, but this is not a must have offcourse, alot depends on your attitude and known reputation among staff.

You were the youngest on the staff team and that was not always easy. Where i would ignore fuck you, you would ban for it:)
I loved working with you, every single day of it. You have a lot of enthousiasm and you are always positive:)

A few more nights and Santa Claus will be back in town delivering the new dildo you ordered or the new cowboy hat you wanted to have since last christmas. I am sure he will be busy as fuck the old man, so Ethan  and i helped the old dude a hand.
We made new Christmas decorations for CT this year. This means that alot of things will be different and some still similair to last year and the year before.


I cant tell to much because it will not be released before X date, but we can give you a little preview on what we did work on the last 1,5 month. Alot of time and testing where put in this new decorations, and offcourse there will always be players that dont like the new things. But well we cant satisfy anyone.


I want to thank Ethan and all the bug testers for their time and work, and lets hope that this will be a epic christmas this year.

Loaning money is at own risk, Admins and moderators can do very less. (only ban )


There are 2 types of money transfers:

   
• Money sent by accident: Prevent this by using /contacts, Admins can help you with this, if it can be proven it was an accident, but you always need to ask that player yourself first to give it back!.
• Money loaned/borrowed to a player: Make sure EVERY chat takes place on CT, use Proper money transaction reasons ( English is best) Example:   LOAN to player( House/car/club/etc)/ Agreed to pay back (before date X)

Admins will never transfer money back from a player to you, ( money transfers by accident could be an exception).


But:
If these things can be proven:

   
• A deal was made  ( pay back before date X/ give it back when i login again/ give back when i ask you to)
• player refuses to pay back, eventhough there is a deal

Player can be banned 200 days for scamming!
But when the player gets banned, your money will not be taken from that player!

TIP: When you do decide to loan some money to someone, make sure you have A) a deal made B) used a correct money transfer reason * In English is best to do so.
