Looks really bad. Same texture repeating over and over. Struggling to concentrate on where I'm driving or flying if it's snowing because it's distracting af.

General Talk / Cargo values spreadsheet
November 19, 2025, 09:48
A few years ago Egert and I spent literally weeks driving every cargo type multiple times to make this spreadsheet and determine each one's value.

Artic:

Dumper(top), cement(mid), coach(bottom):

These values have overload bonus included in them, but even without the bonus the ranking obviously stays the same(I.E. Explosives is still above Machines even if there is no bonus).

The cargos in for example tier 3 aren't all 100% an exact match btw, but they are close enough (within $0.1/m) to where we put them in the same category.

Also, I think the only cargo we are missing is sod, a dumper cargo.

Suggestions / Re: Pay Fines
November 15, 2025, 23:24
Quote from: Sjomp on November 14, 2025, 09:17Or just make it possible to reclass as cop when you have fines?

yes. there is already no protection against this(fair enough, in 15 yrs it was never necessary, but imagine one day the chaos if every acc had 10k fines because no one collected fines xd)

also bumping. keep cop farming allowed(best case scenario someone will intentionally be thief to allow a cop to arrest them anyway these days), but allow thieves to spawn without the need for police
this would encourage cops to spawn and do arrests naturally(aka without farming). i can't think of a reason in 2025 to keep it locked behind the wall it currently has
also, house robbing is a great way to make money. players love watching $ number increase. could potentially increase player count, or at least time online for some players. can't see any negatives tbh.
someone farming house robbing? ez arrests for anyone who wants to spawn as cop.
honestly i don't think this is a bad idea at all

Can't figure out how to install that mod. Game crashes instantly when I follow the translated instructions in readme(extract entire folder into modloader folder). Also when I take only one of the folders (SAMP standalone) it still crashes. How do you install it?

I have Addon ye. Btw I noticed that my memory usage there is 822mb/1024mb just before the vehicles load. I don't know if LODs will make that 200mb difference but it does seem like the cars loading in is what causes it. When I come from another direction like Area 69 or the Refinery I get lag spikes but the game doesn't crash.
And ye, it has been crashing there for me for months as well xd

I have disabled all my mods and still get crashing here. I heard that Jonas is also crashing here. Anyone have any ideas? I have recently been inside the club base while all the cars are spawned with no issues so I don't think it is something there?

The year is 2079, and I find myself stationed on Mars, a desolate and unforgiving frontier. My purpose? To quell a rebellion that has ignited among the restless inhabitants of the Red Planet. As a door gunner on an atmospheric dropship, my role is to provide aerial support and firepower from above. But little did I know that the weapon I would be entrusted with was not the latest technological marvel but rather an old brick of a machine gun with what looked like a pipe sticking out of it.

It's a peculiar sight, this relic from a bygone era. As I secure myself in the dropship, surrounded by the metallic hum of technology, my hands grip the worn handle of the ancient weapon. Its weight is substantial, a reminder of the countless battles it has seen. I wonder what tales it holds within its steel frame.

The mission takes a sudden turn when we are ordered to extract wounded soldiers from the battlefield. The chaos of war engulfs us as we touch down near the evacuation zone. But our arrival does not go unnoticed. We come under attack from a horde of rebels armed with new plasma guns and compact rocket launchers. The deafening roar of their weaponry fills the air, mingling with the adrenaline coursing through my veins.

With a determined resolve, I let loose a stream of bullets from the archaic machine gun. The rebels charge relentlessly, their cries merging with the rhythmic "chunk, chunk, chunk, chunk" of the weapon. It feels as if time has slowed down, the world reduced to the symphony of violence. The echoes of their pain intertwine with my duty, nearly drowning out the cacophony of battle.

As the wounded are loaded up and the dropship ascends, I steal a moment to catch my breath. The adrenaline fades, giving way to reflection. I inspect the machine gun, my hands tracing the scars etched upon its surface. Curiosity overcomes me as I discover the faded words scratched into the gun's worn metal: "Tunisia, Italy, Germany." A surge of history courses through me, connecting me to those who wielded this weapon before.

In that fleeting instant, I sense a deep bond forming between myself and this relic of the past. It has traveled across time and space, from distant battlegrounds to the hostile landscapes of Mars. And just as those who came before, I, too, have left my mark on this weathered companion. With a knife, I carve the word "Mars" next to the faded engravings of its previous battles.

GTA & SA-MP / Re: Graphics Bug?
March 23, 2023, 17:08
that field of view is insane so i'm assuming it is modded, could be an issue with the mod. maybe the stock game wasn't meant to see that far back, could be textures unloading where the game thinks the camera isn't looking
