The same idea, but different suggestion.

Simply, whenever you unload at a gas station, they already give you the money at that point. Your money just adds up and up per gas station until you finish the whole fuel load, and receive your score, and perhaps total money received.

This won't change anything but how you get the money. It won't change the difficulty of getting fuel achievement, as you still need to finish the whole fuel load to gain your score. It's just an 'insurance' that you'll still get some of the money if you failed the last few missions.
