he's trying to do that while he has real life stuff to deal with, unlike some people who are so keen on ignoring their real lives that they insist on spending all of their time on the server :ccmas:
ok then why not other admins or mods help him to fix server lags, ddos ant etc.? why other servers work perfectly but not this? I mean other servers owners also have real lifes but somehow they can take care of their servers...

you clearly have no idea how things are done here. its not like he can wave a magic wand and everything will be fixed. if there is anything that he can do he did it already so show some apprechiation cause he is basicaly running the server alone
Lithuanian, do you know that DDOS problems can't just be solved like that? It takes money, dedication and time to get a good protection. It's not like they can just download free anti-DDOS protection, install it and be done with it. Besides, I think that a lot of people on the server actually have jobs to do, they socialize, have families and want to live their lives. Did you ever think about that? You don't know about people's private lives (neither do I, but I don't tell them what to do), so go out, relax or just go to sleep. It will be better that way.
Why making server anti-ddos ? First find a ddoser (or two) and judge him (them) irl, its not hard for real life police :P

While some of you may have donated previously, or still do. You don't get to tell anyone to do their apparent "job" (nobody can help DDOS attacks. The SA:MP server binaries are piss easy to crash if you flood it enough)
I think admins should stop, and ban posts relating to fixing DDOS attacks since they're all one huge echo chamber by people that know jack shit about networking and/or SA:MP ins/out.
Go out, socialise. I doubt you're old enough to play the game (I'd probably say you're younger than the game too)

Good one, but it's all true. We've had plenty of DOS problems before, and we've changed host plenty of times. Unfortunately, no matter what we do, there is no host strong enough to take the attacks we receive. There is nothing we can do. Yes, it's sad someone is wasting all of their time attacking a simple SAMP server, but there is nothing to be done. As has been said plenty of times before, if there was something we could do, we would have done it by now. This server is almost 8 years old, and the game even older. In my opinion, I say let it go. There are plenty of better games to play out there. Although I do admire the will some people have to keep playing after getting banned by hackers or going through all the frustration of the DDOS attacks, is it really worth it? You could happily go out and live your lives or play better, newer games, but you keep coming here, getting frustrated over things out of anyone's control.
tl;dr, there's nothing to be done, suck it up and deal with it and stop complaining or leave.

This guy is smarter than you all think, and SA:MP is easy to fuck up, as Dobby said. We just have to be patient,i guess we can solve the problem with some money. Supralisma already said that he's up to pay .
