Title: San Andreas Steam version with mods?

I have to reinstall San Andreas..(dont ask why) I have steam version and I am wondering can I use mods with it and does it work with samp?

I have a steam version as well but for samp you have to crack it.

It does work, but you must download gta_sa.exe in order to install SA-MP.

so with the original gta exe it will work for samp, ok, great... what about mods?  with gta v, it will automatically download files if anything is changed.. so with original exe it wont do that?

You gotta downgrade to 1.0 to be able use SAMP on steam version iirc

reinstalled using disc, installed what I thought was SRT but nothing seemed to have changed and I dont need the SAMP addon from whomever gave it to me last time...
