The title is self-explanatory. I believe that the payment should be same as with a truck+trailer. Well, it should be bigger (acknowledging the size), but even matching the payment of a truck+trailer combo should be enough. It might encourage people to use them more and those trucks would actually be useful. Just my 2 cents.
To be honest, that's not a bad idea. What I am trying to say, it doesn't mean that its reward must be increased up to the sky, but just a tiny bit, so people would start using that vehicles as well.

don't you get like double the money when you use a Limousine instead of a normal car? Same thing should be done in this case.

Yep, The pay must be increased because-
1. It is slow.
2. As Shock said.
Little payment might be because of its size. It may block the road and lane but it's fun to drive and the roads are wide enough. Big dumper convoys are awesome!
