Been thinking about this for a while, how it'd be to have the ability to tune your truck back. IRL you can also tune the wheels of your trucks, add hydros (not really in favour of NOS but a player asked me to add it.)
Thoughts?
NOS was removed from trucks for whatever reason years ago, why add it back??? as for wheels, yes, NOS no.

I'd still like it even unpaired like that cause i think its a cool feature.
@Carl maybe making it so you gotta have Professional trucker unlocked for being able to tune your trucks?
Fair deal, or else I could just make it costly enough that not everyone can buy it (especially newbies)
I still think that connecting it somehow with achievements would be better and more satisfaying when achieved.

Just because it was removed doesn't mean there was a good reason behind it. Why not add it back?
I'm for NOS and hydros, because the wheels look ugly as fuck on trucks.
+1 for NOS and Wheels like i said to CarlJohnson before back in the days was cool to have and it gives some purpose to the game you can reach high speed faster in truck get more shorter voyages farm faster.
Why had Hydros instead of NOS per example? What you gonna do with Hydros? Jump in Allambra on LS? plsss..

I'm with shock about unlocking it with the achievement, but I'm not sure about how hydros would work on the dumper..
hydraulics would be nice, i wouldn't use wheels so i don't know about them, and i don't think nos is a good idea
If you're adding Hydrauluics on the trucks make sure you test the reverse beeper as it tends to bug out (think the trashmaster had the same issue). If you add them, make sure you add a reverse beeper option in /settings.

Yep. Reverse beeper will bug with hydraulics. Had to deal with it on my old trashmaster.
I don't see the need for wheels since they don't work correctly on trucks and NOS is a no from me unless you made it an expensive upgrade for the truck.
i just wanted the wheels :D not NOS and Hydraulics, Both of them in truck would suck

Wheels would not look good therefore pointless, i am for hydraulics and NOS but make them available with an achievement and they have to be more expensive like 100k each.
If going to be added, should be available after you reach 1000 truck loads! and yea make them expensive upgrade.

NOS will probably ruin everything, wheels look like shit (I mean seriously, have you actually looked at the way a truck looks like with custom wheels?) and hydraulics are useless.
Everyone has a different way of looking at this, some of us like those wheels and hydraulics, at the end its your choice if you want to tune your truck with them or not, you don't like it maybe someone else does.
Think of it. What happened to the trashmaster can happen in the RT,Linerunner and petrol. it can ruin everything. Trashmaster doesnt have modifications anymore. What if it can happen in those 3 trucks too?

I can fix that by making a option in /settings to disable the reverse beeper.

Make it 1.5k i guess. but it might ruin trucking exp. coz of nos hydraulics and wheels.
It's your own perception, we have a different one. 1.5k is too less, NOS would be for like 1-2m and after considerable Truck loads (1500 or something) while Wheels and hydralics would be a bit cheaper (~500k) and will be available after 1000 truck loads
Hydraulics and Wheels: 1,500 truck loads and price should be 1 million for both each of them.
NOS: 3,000 truck loads and price should be 3 million.
NOS should be atleast 5000 truck loads. It should be something 'rare', not something you earn easily.
Hydraulics\wheels atleast 3000 truck loads.
Price should be like 500k\each. Above a million is a bit too much considering the fact that you already need thousands of truckloads.

I like the idea of making it harder to get, possibly the hardest "New Achievement" in the game, since many would like new achievements anyways, this could be the way to get it for them.

I recommend you show Carl some respect. Your message (now removed) is coming across as rather disrespectful.
I feel it should be somewhat more expensive (NOS);
Initial cost: 500,000
Charge cost: 1,000 (max of 100 charges or "uses").
Once uses are at 0, the NOS is gone until you recharge it, you should never have to buy it again.
Trucks with hydraulics are stupid, but if you enjoy them. Why the hell not.

Thinking of yourself only? Why not make it 10k truck loads and 10 mil, sounds good?
But yeah make it something you have to work for and is favourable to everyone. I have been saying this from long time add something to play for, to achieve something, a goal. (Like new achievements and such). Anything that motivates you to play.
