Is Convoy not hosted on either of the internet or Hosted tab? I left mine up for two hours letting it load with the word Convoy typed in and it never showed up on the internet tab. Did the same with the hosted tab with a lot less time involved lol
No, not on either.
Hosted tab won't ever see CT since its no longer possible to create accounts on GameMP. The only way to get a hosted list is via a 3rd party, in which case; they'll likely want ridiculous prices (last time i checked it was £22 per month).
I don't see why it can't be on internet list however.
It would most certently make it easier to find!
What, why ct is not on internet list? Back in days I would have never found this server if it would not been on the internet list.

Me neither.
The server's announce binary may be outdated which is why we're not on the Internet list. Someone will have to push the newest server files to the development repository's master branch (both Windows and Linux).

Basically there's three .exe's or the Linux alternative with the server files. The announce.exe is outdated since we don't use it (announce = 0 in server.cfg). We'll have to push the latest (upload) to the repo, and edit accordingly.

riighht.. (Still confused but much less) go ahead and just do that O0 hahahah
i saw ct in internet tab and then i added it in favorite but now can't find, i think this is the biggest problem of players in server mostly players search in internet and if they found they connect not found no new players, but some players join ct still maybe because they found it in Google, if it will be fixed then i hope to see alot of players who are looking for a great trucking server.

If I'm not mistaken thats around the time the server started getting less players, so that could be one of the reasons CT isn't getting many players anymore

Hosted tab is too damn expensive, plus i'm unsure if these third party services need your server files to do that (that aint gonna happen im afraid).
However I've updated announce.exe and pushed to the repo.

All they need is the ip and port. And for the price i would be willing to pay for the first month, if it brings in more users awesome, if it doesn't oh well, i have spent more on stupider things unfortunately ::)

I was quoted $22 for the first month and $20 every month after. Its worth it with the current condition of the masterlist. The only servers atm that show are hosted tab servers.

So I've updated the server to 0.3.7-R2 and while I was doing that I've updated the announce binary to try getting us onto the internet tab.
It didn't work. SA-MP devs have effectively removed the Internet tab and are just showing Hosted tab servers there instead, which means we must 'rent' a hosted tab listing to be on either list.
Whether or not it's worth it to spend money to put us on the hosted tab is up to Mick though.
Even if it's for a short time it might help. I have money burning a hole in my pocket that I would definitely use to get on the hosted tab.

I don't see a reason for not advertising Ct anywhere else if we can't get it on hosted tab.

Its not like its just me being so optimistic here, I've seen so many people who are willing to help and are still hopeful about CT's future.
I recently just donated 12 dollars myself. I am willing to pay more, just rent the place on the Hosted tab already, god damn it :D
I would also help pay, 22$ a month is nothing..
