Did you get that key from a different country? If you didn't, try disabling the steam beta update. If disabling it doesn't work you should consider contacting steam support.

Tbh, my gf bought it for me and she redeemed the gift without saying a word :D
Next morning I noticed the game and if I click on install then that crap pops up..and ye, she lives in different country atm.
Wanted to contact to Steam Support but what's the point of it?

Most likely, it was bought from an external sales website. Like www.g2play.net or something similair. If it was indeed bought directly off Steam itself, you should contact steam and explain your story, but i doubt that scenario most unlikely unless your gf lives in another continent.
So if the code/ gift came indeed from an external sales site, contact them, explain them your story and see if you can swap it around for other shit.
Gifts bought at certain countries can't be reedemed at others. And you most likely won't get a refund since you get a red sign saying about it, look:

I know but she still managed to redeem the game. It's not the first time she redeemed a restricted gift, all the other games worked like that but for some reason PAYDAY 2 doesnt .__.

your gf gave you the game as a gift in her country but you live in a different one, and when you try to install it it gives you the error message or what?.. why not just take your computer to her house where its "legal" or whatever, install it there and then take it back to your house, or is it to far to travel?

To clear this up you are not allowed to share steam accounts it's a breach of rules http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/ and if you wanna share it especially across countries then you will have to work it out yourself cause as soon as you mention the word share or they ask you why you have been logging in from 2 different countries frequently you will have no chance of getting it fixed.

Maybe I have to tell them that my "gramma" lives there and I visited her and bought PAYDAY 2 when I noticed it was 80% off. Since the internet connection was terrible there then I didnt even try to install it. When I got home and click on install then that message pops up. :biggrin:
