OMFG! How much did you pay for it?
And what is the resolution you are using?

I am planning to get a R9 270x

$850, down from $899, only because box was opened :) (shit is expensive here i know) the antistatic bag had the seal on it and everything, just the box, all the stickers and books were there too.
1920x1080, until my birthday, im buying a 27'' ultra-widescreen with 2560x1080 :)

The place i bought this from, said that the R9 series cards have really loud fans compared to the GeForce series. Its the only reason i got the 780 instead of the 270x.

Weird...I mean, I've got a HD7850 2gb, and can run everything on max + 400% scaling, at 1920x1080.

How so? my GTX680SC ran ETS2 on the same settings at only 30-40 fps, i bought the card not only for ETS2.

I am planning to get a R9 270x

I'm about to order the R9 270 (no X) in a couple of hours. Beast graphics card, the X is just a overclocked version for a shit ton more money. It's not worth it

The R9 290X is not worth getting full stop. I heard it has a really loud fan, unless youre using a generic dirty CPU heatsink as well, then by all means get it.

But the 780 is much faster for almost the same price (here anyway).

Sapphire R9 270X 4GB GDDR5 OC DUAL-X Boost  8)

And i can tell you, these fans are not loud.
