I made some random (dark style) screenshots, I'm still in love with the far lights (project 2dfx) mod :D

I'll release it in a few days, just I add some more (animated) lights. Now the red lights at top are animated (each light fading seperately)!
Also you can see the blue light are reflecting on the ground
All lights (even animated, and reflection on the ground) working WITHOUT any asi or cleo thing needed!

The blue light will go around almost every corner of the chassis, I added animated "running" lights to the front since I made the pics, also I want to add more light to the sides as well. I even thinking to add more animated red light to the top.

also you can suggest lights if you want :)

there will be ~100 2dfx light source... I don't know if the game would handle it... I only know now that ~50 works fine... :D But ~50 light remaining to do... It will look like a disco light xd

Well, in the sky (from where the images made) it's 17-20fps so there is a noticable stuttering but it's not disturbing.
At the ground when I just go with a truck or any vehicle, it's ~30-40fps. Which is good for me :D

I didn't fine tuned it yet so I think I can get some extra fps. The IDEtweaker asi is the resource hog, if I set LOD distance lower then I get more fps but then distance landscapes getting missing LOD elements. With a proper balanced distance setting I could get more fps.
(btw I only have an old Core2Duo 3,1Ghz with an AMD 6850 1GB)

edit: just tried to tweak settings and now I get 20-25fps in the sky with the same draw distance.

I have these:
- 2dfx.asi (this makes the far light points)
- IDE_DD_tweaker.asi (this can change the LOD and otehr object load distance)
- flickr.asi (it's against huge map holes and flickering)
- limit_adjuster_gta3vcsa.asi (this is what changes the loadable object limits to higher)
- sa_draw_distance_changer.asi (this is the draw distance modifier itself)
- yacl.asi (allows more light coronas loaded up at the same time)

(and more, but only the ones I mentioned are for better distances)

AND also I have these cleo scripts:
- binthesky_by_DK.cs (makes trees and LODs load up from far distance, helps preventing map holes, not really tested what it changes yet)
- memory512.cs (512 MB stream memory)

If you want I can attach my whole "package" here.

nyolc8, you should try using SilentPatch (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/46581994/patchsatest/platetest/SilentPatchSA.asi). It works with SA-MP and it fixes a load of Rockstar bugs.  :like:
EDIT: I just remembered that the link only contains the ASI file. It needs an INI file too, download that from here: http://bit.ly/1sjL2FL and use the ASI from the first link.  :P

I saw it before but never actually saw a list from what is actually fixes. I only found VC and 3 list. Actually I can't even find it for SA, only teaser videos. edit: just tried it, it fixes the "dissapearing texture on headlights on" bug, and I used that bug on my elegy mod to make license plate lightning, so I won't use this patch :D

because we don't have the same timecyc file, maybe you'll need to change the "y=3800.0" in the sa_draw_distance_changer.ini to something higher to get the same draw distance as me.

Also if you experiencing map holes, you need to change "lods_draw_distance_multiplier = 2.3" in IDE_DD_tweaker.ini to higher (not too high, 2.5 or something, this is a multiplier value, remember) to fix those holes.

And if you don't want the far lights, only the high draw distance, then you don't need for the following files from the zip:
-data/2dfx folder
-2dfx.asi
-2dfx.ini
-yacl.asi

The bad part is that I'm getting ~18fps in the air lol (will set things a littlebit lower to fix this), but almost no framedrop at ground level.

I only used files that I used and shared before. The only file modification I used is a new version from the limiter, and removed the flickr.asi because it's not required anymore. And changed the settings in the limit and ini files :D I'll upload the modified files. I didn't even touched the draw_distance_changer ini.

btw I found a cool little script which leaves the steering (even the sterring wheel) as you left it when you exit from car:

Can you tell me if imfx flickers for you from "interior" view in vehicles? Because I don't have problem from exterior camera views, but from interior view (the view when the camera is at the front of the vehicle) the lensflare effect flickers badly. :-\ I never noticed it but now I play the game with wheel controling, and I need interior view and this bugs me...

Yes, it does flicker from interior. It even flickers one xterior camera when the sun is half behind your vehicle.
Then it flickers because the interior camera is inside the vehicle's bounderies and the game sees that as the vehicle is between the camera and the sun... >< I disabled the sun because of this xd

Installed latest project 2dfx, removed some stupid things from it (like the red lights on SF hill, those bollards doesn't have lights in real life... -.-), also removed some totally unneccessary lights, like some INTERIORS (wtf, when we see interiors from far away?! lol) and these removes made it runs faster, so I get the same(or nearly same) FPS with new project 2dfx as with old versions, but still getting new lights, like pylons red lights, and bridges, etc. Also made CT server island lights for it.

I sometimes have an issue just like that, I think it has something to do with the stream memory but I'm not 100% sure.

No, this is totally different, I know why it's black, and I know how to make it, I should make RGB and RGB2 values for EACH timecyc weather lines... and I have no mood for that now :D

I can fix it because I tried it out and fixed some night-time timesteps in the extrasunny weather for LS, but it would take hours to make this for every weather and every time step... Also I need to make it nicely to avoid strange colors. So it's a nightmare to do. Maybe I'll make it someday, but I don't have the patience for that now.

Yes but moon will come up and lights will turn on. It's easy, just copy a daytime weather and replace nighttime lines with that.

It will work in SAMP too if you already use "timecyc.aaa" for SAMP. If you don't using any timecyc mod, then you'll need a modded gta_sa.exe.

I used /camera. By default it shows up with a grid at fullscreen, and the same image in smaller at right bottom corner in the phone. If you change the camera mode in the phone.ini file to "0" then you get this view with the blurred background and the phone in the middle.

Water is ENB water, the sun looks different for me because I added an extra corona into it, a big orange one, but made it very transparent. And this makes it to "color" the whole screen almost :D

Yeah, but only water is enabled. And of course there's a little color effect (color correction) + the slight vignete on the screen(effect.txt). The main thing what changes the graphics is the PlayStation2 graphics post-processing asi, the PlayStation2 graphics reflection system asi and the timecyc.

If I remove the plugin.dll then the newopcodes wont work -.-
Tried to use it with your settings, then it worked but the hud elements were all messed up (health bar...etc).

Did you modify the ini file inside the "mp" folder? Or in the main folder? The ini in the main folder is for single player, and the ini in the mp folder is for samp.

It did,
No logic but I changed the singleplayer bCheckForOldPlugin to 0 too and now it works in multiplayer :D

maybe it's bugged and reading that option from the main ini even for multiplayer too.. :)

Nope. Mine is 1920x1080.
I think it getting smaller on higher resolutions, same as original hud elements doing.

Route advisor uses gta sa paths. Additional maps don't have defined paths, so it won't work.

The gta5 hud uses the radarXX.txd files from gta3.img. So basically you can apply whatever map mod you want and that will showed up. By default (if you don't have any map mod installed) it shows the default gta sa map there which is colored.
