I was talking with Dobby and a couple others earlier today about having an automatic headlight option. Instead of having to do /headlights on/off, have them set to auto so that at a certain time in the morning (In game) they turn off, and at a certain time in the evening, they turn on. I'm not lazy- so before someone starts to say that "Oh well just do /headlights," I figured that it'd be a nice suggestion to add to the server to add just that much more realism to it. I don't know it would be possible to make them turn on in the rain/fog as well, but I think for the night/day on/off feature, I think it would be nice.
If you could choose to have the option enabled or not, then yes. If its forced, then no.
Some countries are required by law to have vehicle headlights on at all times of day and night, Finland im sure is one of them.

All it would require is a variable :)

In the USA, cars need them on at night or shitty weather. Trucks seem to always have them on, not sure if that's a law or not. Motorcycles need to always have them on though.
To the suggestion:

Would be cool if instead of /lights you tpye /l and lights will go on/off
would be good.
in the UK only put lights on at night or bad weather.
Plus I do crash a lot or slow down while tying /lights
and the key binning thing seems to keep spazzing out on me. :\
:like: IF it could be configurable in /settings like for example "auto-lights: on/off"
I'm sure whoever *cough Dobby cough* scripts it, would make it doable.

Lights are on by default, so when you enter vehicle they turn on automatically. If you'r e too lazy to turn them on and off, just leave them on.
I believe I made this suggestion a while back... I think, still, I approve of it. :like:
