Just wanted to announce, that soon sharing and un-sharing vehicles will be disabled.
All vehicles that have been shared with club, will "belong" to the club.
Club vehicles will be bought for club money and sold for cub money.
Bonus from missions will go towards club funds (it'll be a bit higher than player vehicle).
You need to unshare the vehicles that you want to keep as your own.
If you dont remove the cars from sharing it to the club, what will happen if you sell it when it belongs to the club? Will it still use a slot at your account?
Who and how will pay for vehicles insurance, maybe owner of club or owner of vehicle will use insurances like actually ?
and who will pay for fuel? player who is using the vehicle or it will go from club founds, like in real life's company?
Anyway current sharing works very well, there should be a note who drove which car and when, that's all :)

Will they take up the players slots and what happens when the vehicles are sold? and does this mean vehicles can no longer be shared but now must be owned by the club because if thats true, i dont think its a good change to make.
i currently share all my vehicles and want my club to be able to use them but i still want to be able to sell them if i may need to and if they take my slots yet dont belong to me then i doubt i will keep them..
guys dont panic... when it will come on the server we will get some info i guess.

I haven't finished this yet. The idea is, that club vehicles won't need insurance, because they will respawn instead of destroy. Fuel and repair will be paid for by vehicle user from their own pocket, although that might change.

better if vehicle user will pay normally if he won't have all achievs, and if he has, it (fixing/flipping) will be free, like always :)
anyway will clubs be limited with Club Cars or if owner will be rich enough, he would buy unlimited ammount of cars (except own) ? :o
Sorry Mick but for me (It's my oppinion) it's a bad idea ... Why ?
- They are clubs who don't want pay for Club base and just share own vehicle with other that's all nothing more like Snake had said
- Some clubs are only create for on spec of vehicle like "Duneride Clubs Owner" etc ... it's not good for this club to make this system.
- Some players who share their vehicles want resale it when he wants and keep the money of resale for his and not for the club, because he his the owner of the vehicle
- Many player stop to create club and share their vehicle because he scared to lost the money of his own vehicle shared to the club
- Player owner of a vehicle wants resale it and receive the resale money and not send it for the club
I have say it's only my oppinion but this can destroy all of the club system and clubs too :/

That's the point... if he doesn't unshare them they will be owned by the club, not him.
And my question was if the player can sell it when it started to belong to the club, and if it uses a slot at the player account :D
If it answers anything, i sold 3 vehicles, (RT, ArticTr, Securicar) today, that were bought with ITC club funds, i received the money bck from buying them, which i donated back to the club, it doesnt use my slots. (im back to ~6/20)
If you dont unshare your vehicles, by...whenever, those vehicles will automatically be transferred to the club as club vehicles.
What will happen when you own shared cars that will be a club vehicle?
You will lose it and you get 1 more open house slot?
I think this will be abused with players who own a lot of cars like snake.
For example:
A player with a lot of house slots will lose his cheap shared vehicle to his own club and he buys another expensive car for himself because there will come a free house slot.
I am sure this will be abused

Also; what happens with people who are banned in server, but have shared vehicles?
This type of system is going to cause many issues if time isnt taken to check things like tempbanned players dont loose their vehicles and things but besides that i cant wait to see what it turns out like but i really would like more information because i always share my vehicles and i dont really want to have to spend club funds instead.. oh and will club vehicles take player slots?

I think snake is more angry that he must now go to like 70+ vehicles in game and unshare them all :p
Maybe it would be an idea to add like /unshareall ? or make a list on forums where players can add to have their vehicles unshared incase they maybe cant get online or have so many its hard todo them all
@Rockey, for that to work, staff would need a command, because its only for players right now :p

anyway overloading/weighting is the only thing I hate here, even this weird bridge can be but.. if it would up to me, you know, all want to change it, asslickers will say "learn to drive"..

This is a bad idea!!!! I say it just needs to Have a menu of who last drove the car like /ldrove or something. Not make it to where we lose our car cause we want to share it. Or make us unshare it. What if we want to resale it in the future cause we went broke? We can't

-_- As mick said, vehicle sharing will be disabled, and you have a limited time to unshare them all. Then, when the feature is removed, you will be able to buy vehicles with your club funds, meaning it wont be shared anymore, it will be a official club vehicle

Also due to increasing expenses (due to increasing features) in the server, we are getting poorer day by day if we wanna use those features, so our Mission Paybacks should be increased.

I don't know when It's going to be implemented in server. I'm still working on the code + I have other projects and exams coming in a week. I work on everything in rotation, but I should focus on exams now. Most of the code is there (selling club vehicle, rewards for missions), so gamemode may be updated in few days to 2-3 weeks.
Players have been asking for club vehicles, so this is the progression towards it. One day I may make club vehicles independent of club members.
You should let the players know in-game and facebook since not everyone has access to the forum.

@ Mick, i spoke to some players + i made all players of that time aware of this upcomming change, but it came to my attention that i got questions about when this is going to happen.
Offcourse you said few days or 2-3 weeks. But If its ok with you i suggest some sort of deadline.
For example, this will not be implented before 15th Jan. ( this would give players that are on vacation or with family in another country or far way some more time.)
Anyway, it sounds good boss:)
I will give at least 1 day notice.
Just a suggestion for those people Konali mentioned: why not remove all sharing information and then introduce the system? That way you won't get mix ups and the players can still sell the vehicle and give the donation to the club.

Because some clubs already bought vehicles with their funds. If they sell it and donate money, they will lose. I leave it up to members to decide what they want to do.

If you shared the vehicle, it will be a club vehicle after the change, and no longer yours.
If you bought a vehicle as club founder for the club and you want to keep it, keep it shared and it will turn into a club vehicle.

We cant repeat ourselves everyday ingame plus not everyone listens there ingame because they are playing. That is why is have chosen to send a message to all forum members for the most effective result of this topic.

True, that is because it was not sent to your forum account, but to your email. This because basicly everyone nowadays has a phone where they receive email with. It send my message into my spam folder, you might wanna check there.
Just a note kona, i got the message at my spam box, if people doesnt look at it then they will loose the cars ::)

It is a message from the games , so definitly the message has to go on spams folder ( Gmail anti-spam ) . send a club message to all members about it.. when they log in, that message automatically appears to them and they have to click OK or esc for it to go away.. this way you know they have looked at it, if they dont move their cars, it falls on them, not the club itself

Ye looks right , but there are noob clans that will not inform the members . That's what i meant , a notification like the clubs one , but just let that be from a admin or something like that ... I'm gonna announce it later when server will be half full or full so all know about it ..
For me I unshared all my cars and just posted the password for them on the message board, and also that way I can check to see who entered my cars in the entry log on forum

He said already that this system is still in progress and many people have been asking about this , and some answers that have been given are that there will not be cars insurance , every player will cover his expenses by his own pocket .

Because the current system can be abused.
Because players demanded club vehicles for the club, not individually.
I personally think this is a great update, but maybe thats because im a club founder.

After insulting , getting warned with them etc you wanna share this with them ? You'd better do to don't say it if you want that the things don't get more badly . Btw , mick , lock this please . All people are posting when they unshare their vehicles . Whatever happen , they will know that they will have to unshare the vehicles even if they don't post ...
It shouldn't be locked because someone may have questions to ask...

I have a club for swedish truckers and we have shared vehicles but we don't own a club base and we don't want one and if we get one you have stupid rules that say we need to "accept players" to the club, but we only want swedish speaking players becouse they are the only once that are good for my club,
so what will happend to my shared vehicles if we don't have a club base?

So if you want to keep your vehicles as your own you should unshare them
if the club doesn't have a base, where will the shared cars be parked ? ... when players buy cars for the club(or club admins w/e) were will they park them ?

club bought cars (base or not) need to be parked properly at any available parking area.. cars in car parking, trucks in truck parking

leave the whole pay for fuel and repairs part up to the person using the vehicle, and only staff or club leaders should have authority to buy club vehicles.
