You can download a lite-map (from i dont know) to start your roject.
Whats a lite-map?
i think he means ''little map'' or ''starters map'', a map that already has a basic infrastructure etc.

get inspiration by what other people have done just dont take their maps and call it yours even if you edit them, they are still made by original creator.

im not that kind of people haha
you may not be that type of person, but then again you can look and see what they have done to know what pieces you can use to create islands and such to further your mapping skills
