Title: Cars systematic tune
Post by: Krepp on December 28, 2016, 14:24
Today while driving my first bought roadtrain i thought it would be nice if u would add some systematic tuning, like tuning fuel tank capacity, speed tuning like in rl "chip tuning" to increase the car engine power for like a little increase on speed like 20km/h +.  Or the new bought cars would go slower, and after adding the "parts" the car would run the same speed as it runs now( it looks uselees , but maybe it would be more interesting and something new. Maybe no chip tuning for trucks ,  but for sports cars. I know it is a bit silly idea but maybe. Main idea is the fuel tank capacity. Waiting for responses. :)

And another idea is, to maybe add signs of speed traps incoming, like 50 meters away from the speed cam.

if signs are added in front of speed traps, there'd be no point to them anymore..   :dislike:

Signs should be added but the would tell you the speed you should be driving.

Signs would make Travelling man achievement pretty much useless so that's a no, but the suggestion about tuning is not bad, I'd like to see that happen

About those signs thing, you can make a script that only player with score less than 10 can know that a speedtrap is ahead. WHY? coz new players don't always listen to the Blue line in the chat nor do they use /speedlimit cmd and keep going on max speed, gets fined and jailed many times. < shows new players are naive, but not all >

As for the actual suggestion, NO. It's good as it is now. Adding more things/scripts would make server lag and also a little confusing.

I am quite doubtful, since they don't add new scripts, they simply update the gamemode by adding certain things into it.
