If it played music to everyone in its range it would be neat but it could also bug someone who is driving past it maybe, but I guess that can be fixed too if it happens
Also: I think it would be nice if we could have on foot radio streaming too

First some other server things need to be changed in order for it to work.
I don't think placable radios can work in open world, they probably have to be in an interior world. I might be wrong though.
It can be made but not on ct untill the whole radio script changes.
It can be done like Matias demonstrated in the update thread. Not sure if he's going to work on the script or not, we will find out :)
Why would we be needing to change anything ? Or the whole radio script ? There's no need to do something like that also they can be placed in open world as well.
For the boomboxes he made it couldnt work for some reason with the current radio script. Thats what he told me
Matias was working on it. When we tested it, it seemed to need a few more tweaks.
You don't need to use interiors, use itters and dynamic areas. Stupidly simple. I'll do it if Matias wants (providing I have time. Store refits are fun)
we cant people just listen to regular music like iheartradio, itunes, spotify etc while playing?? why do we need another radio in game??

no iphone, itunes are very limited and spotify isn't supported in my country. Why wouldn't we have an extension of a cool feature like a radio? why u even post u dont play...

another thing that can be used is youtube, but since chrome(assuming everyone uses chrome) is a resource whore AND the fact that other people would be able to hear your portable radio in the area around it but won't hear whatever you're streaming on youtube - imo the portable radio would be more useful

I finished it long time ago, needs some tweaks about reading players stored radios from sql database which i dont know how to do, and then it will get online. ;D
I have been busy with other stuff, but i will upload it as soon as i can so scripters can finish it. :like:
And why do you guys discuss about anything, this is how the script works and can be hear by anyone in the range of it.
As soon as it's finished, and ready for upload Matias i'll sort the SQL side of it.
